21 Chapter 20: Martial spirits

After Hiroko agreed, they then started to join the fight,

"that's one tough bastard, even our combined treasure was destroyed even though it could withstand a thousand strikes of my meteor shower" says vulkan,

"mine aswell" says shiro

"agreed" kirishima agreed

the three finally recovered their strength, and Hiroko also recovered aswell,

Ymir just stood there and watched them recover while ignoring the attacks of the jōnins and low rank ninjas,

"that bastard seems to be waiting for us, to come towards him, tch cocky bastard" vulkan said,

"indeed" says Hiroko,

"it seems to be not interested in finishing he's opponents in a weakened state" he added,

"Ha! just wait when I get there I will make that bastard beg me for mercy" vulkan scoffed,

"shut it big mouth, you barely stood your ground against Chrogon, what makes you think you can stand your ground against that Giant who gave the strongest Shinobi a hard time and also turning him into this sorry state," shiro said frowning,

"my armor is the one broken not me asshole!" Hiroko said a little irritated,

after having a little conversation, they then put their attention towards Ymir who was just waiting for them to finish,

"sorry for making you wait Monster here I come hahahaha!!!" vulkan said while laughing,

vulkan gathered his energy on his body to make him grow in size (75meters) charging towards Ymir at full speed, while shiro made his ice avatar harder and more durable, kirishima then summoned the Thunder god to join the fight,

kirishima changed his size just by gathering the darkness in his domain,

(if you could change your size and still have some cards up your sleeves then you should've done that earlier why struggle, you could even end the fight before it even started yet) Ymir thought as he charged towards them,

vulkan swung his giant hammer towards Ymir, then shiro summoned [ice spears] which he threw towards Ymir while also attempting to slash him with his avatar's spear, kirishima then summoned a Thunder God and ordered it to attack using [thunder bombs] which is containing hundreds of lightning bolts that spread around the area,

and Hiroko gathered the darkness around his domain and changed his size while also summoning the hellhounds and evil spirits,

<chuckle> (this is getting pretty interesting) Ymir thought,

Ymir then prepared for a counter attack, vulkan's hammer was coming towards him which he deflected and counterattacked with a punch knocking him back a few meters away,

then he Dodged shiro's ice spears left and right right as the final spear was coming towards him he evaded it then grabbed the rear end of it then threw it towards shiro making a few cracks to his avatar in which regenerated,

after dealing with the two he then noticed 5 floating balls of light, he then realized he was trapped before he could even react the balls exploded while sending hundreds of lightning bolts in every direction, In which managed hit him and causing more damage,

Hiroko seeing an opportunity leaped above Ymir hoping he could chop his head off, but unfortunately his foot was grabbed by a hand and was flung towards the three,

"damnit! this bastards too strong even I'm already at full strength" vulkan said fuming,

"your no the only one struggling here dipshit" shiro said

"both of you stop arguing and f-" before kirishima could say anything a large boulder has suddenly hit all 4 of them sending them flying like a bowling ball pin,

they quickly stood back up recovering from the damage they took,

they attacked once more, but this time with teamwork, vulkan once again took the lead followed by kirishima he then used his fire breathing technique to temporarily blind the giant, but sadly he was grabbed by the neck vulkan smiled he then said

"now kirishima!"

kirishima threw a lightning bolt towards Ymir which successfully hit him but unfortunately vulkan was still in his hands causing him to be affected by kirishima's attack,

"Batard!" he said angrily,

shiro then sent a snow blizzard hoping it would break the iron she'll of the giant, unfortunately vulkan was in his hands giving him resistance to below 0 degrees,

after that Hiroko appeared behind Ymir attempting to stab him in the heart, unexpectedly he was kicked to the stomach,

he then realized it was the difference in size,

he fell to the ground, Fighting with a huge body was not his forte,

but the situation made them do so, so that they can fight the giant on even grounds, which is 4 against 1, but the problem was that they are not used to fighting in a huge body, an they were treated like children fighting an adult,

after seeing their leaders struggle, the ninjas started to charge towards Ymir hoping they could give their leaders a fighting chance even if it means sacrificing all their forces to do so,

seeing this Hiroko and the others tried to create a Barrier preventing them from coming to aid them, but it was no use their numbers are too large for them to create a barrier, because of how many they are if they put a barrier to some of them, they might end up killing their own people since it's a physical barrier capable of slicing a person in half if they reach the maximum range,

as the people charge towards Ymir some of them threw a barrage of explosive kunais and shuriken just to buy time to some of the elite ninjas to activate their jutsus,

but to no avail Ymir struck the ground with his sword, splitting the land in half killing most of their forces,

"your no match for it, go leave us we'll figure something out" they said,

"but my Lord we can't let you die, Not like this!" their subordinates answered,

"hey! in every battle there comes a sacrifice, so if we die we died fight not dying while our tales are in between our legs" vulkan said

Hiroko not letting their subordinates continue, used his power to push their people back and making a barrier,

the people were hopeless against their leaders barrier,

Hiroko and the others smiled at them, the people knew what that smile meant it was their final battle and they're going all out for this moment, the people can't do anything but cry since it would the last time they will see their leaders,

and their duty has been fulfilled, to find an enemy worthy for their leaders regardless whether they win or lose,

Hiroko and the others and said,

"spirit unleash"

as they said that, large pillars of light appeared right before them forming into their martial spirits,

when the spirit is finally unleashed, their bodies will be possessed by these spirits and will be given a breakthrough beyond their limits equal to the higher gods but in exchange it will drain their lifeforce regardless if they win or lose they will die,

instantly they appeared right in front of Ymir and puched him in the face sending flying,

Ymir aware of this just smiled Once more as he charged towards them,

the battle of the gods was presented to the people, they printed this battle into their hearts as they watched their leaders fight to their hearts content,

"we've served our purpose" one of them said
