Chapter 18: King of Darkness Hiroko

Ymir just smiled as he finally made his enemy take him seriously,

"that's a lot of skills, not that I'm the one to talk but sadly it's sealed so hehe... welp things are getting more interesting since I'm having my first ever boss fight (it's not that Gilbert is not a boss but there was no notification so I guess there might be privileges to unlock their true form)," Ymir said,

After unsealing the domain, Hiroko's powers increased greatly compared to his previous forms, his people saw him and started to shout in excitement for seeing their leader's true form,

Hiroko looks like darkness forming a humanlike appearance,

after he appeared Darkness then started to engulf the land around them, everything was covered in darkness except for the beast and men but all the trees and rocks disappeared making the land flat to the ground nowhere to hide and nowhere to go,

this also include vulkan, shiro, kirishima and the beast lords, the darkness covered the forest within a hundred mile radius, it seems to be similar to a world dimension of sort since it's pretty much appeared right after Hiroko transformed,

even after seeing this, the war still continued as if nothing changed,

Hiroko who is now stronger than Before Vanished once more to attack Ymir while also casting the [tentacle] to grab hold of the Giant's movements,

Ymir having also taking this seriously used his limited skills to keep up with Hiro while also dodging and deflecting Hiroko's attacks while also being chased by the hell hounds and Shadow slaves making it more difficult and also makes him vulnerable since he most of the time gets hit by Hiroko which gave him more of a challenge,

Ymir slew the shadow slaves and hellhounds with ease, as the pain started to run all over his body he started to smile and laugh,

"yes this is it! I haven't have this much fun in ages! hahaha!" Ymir laughed maniacally,

"as expected of hell difficulty hahaha!" he added,

Hiroko noticed this and said,

"this Giant seems to be laughing, understandable it's also been a long time since I used this form," he said,

then he also started to laugh as well,

the people noticed that their leader was laughing with the Giant, their laugh sounds like thunder and explosions combined, it brought a deafening sound making most of the people and beast sensitive to sound became deaf for a few seconds,

as the two slowly became silent,the people also became silent aswell, and the two started to go on a stare down, as the people witness this deafening silence,

the image of the two suddenly vanished and they could only hear a loud explosion, howling clashing of blades and maddening echoes in the darkness,

the people only saw a large and small shadow to appear and disappear again and only delivering a large shockwave creating a strong gust of wind and also a blinding light, causing some of them to get flashed in a second,

"hahaha! are you having fun Monster! witness the power of I Hiroko the king of darkness!" Hiroko shouted while swinging his sword,

Ymir just smiled, not answering Hiroko he swung his sword which managed to hit Hiroko, causing him to be pushed back but before he could land into the earth he then teleported once more and summoned red lightning,

Ymir got hit by Hiroko's lightning which gave him an excruciating pain for a few seconds,

Ymir then counter attack using [Wyvern slash]

and [Earth Bullets], which he then used as a distraction,

Hiroko was hit by Ymir's [earth bullets], which pushed him in the middle of the battlefield, he then saw the giant rushing towards him, some of the Ninjas witnessing this charged towards him but only to be sent flying in the air,

this angered Hiroko but he has no time to be angry, he then used his talisman to summon an evil spirit to aid him in battle,

the spirit he summoned was a demonic spirit warrior which attributes are corrupted elements and can also aid in long and close quarter combat,

Hiroko then ordered the spirit to stall some time, and with no question it started charging towards Ymir at such a great speed equal to Hiroko's,

Ymir saw the spirit, he then leaped towards the spirit forcing it to break it's momentum of speed since he knows what Hiroko plans to do is to buy some time to use the [Monarch's Blade] which he would love to see,

the spirit sent a corrupted wind and fire element to add more damage to Ymir which worked temporarily, Ymir then grabbed the spirit and slammed it to the ground which he then gave an additional punch, the spirit dodged it and gave a counter attack,

while watching the fight Hiroko managed to complete the [Monarch's Blade] he then called for the spirit to retreat but it was already too late, the spirit was crushed by the giants hand killing it with no hesitation,

it gave Hiroko a backlash causing him to cough up blood, Hiroko wiped the blood off his mouth then charged towards Ymir,

[host the enemy activated the special ability of the skill called [Monarch's wrath] please be careful]

"hahaha! come at me Hiroko!" Ymir shouted and charged towards him,

Ymir activated the skill he accidentally created called [Rampage] giving him an ability similar to an unstoppable juggernaut making him go faster and faster as he keeps his momentum giving additional destructive power,

as the two collided with their power shook the battlefield, swing after swing the two side showed no signs of fatigue, each swing created wind blades and shadow blades those who are nearby were unfortunately killed,

the longer the fight lasted, the pain on Hiroko's injury started to show, causing him to lose focus and was hit by a giant fist, but before he was pushed back he put a miasma inside a bomb and threw it towards Ymir,

as he crashed to the ground, the people ran towards his direction, he was then aided by his people to stand but unfortunately the giant was right above them, Hiroko pushed his people away so they won't die,

after Hiroko done this he then closed his eyes chanting in his mind a teleportation technique which he created, but as the Giant's sword drew closer a sudden burst of light suddenly appeared and pushed the giant back,

Hiroko then heard a voice,

"you two seems to be having a Good time mind if we join?"
