CHAPTER 3: NIE LI

While I was calming my boner, I suddenly see nie li woke up. I can see in his eyes that he is confused and I thought 'cannon start' but I just shrugged it as I done want him to noticed my eye that contain the truth.

(Nie li pov)

"Where am I? why is my hand are small and my skin are tender?" While I was questioning myself I suddenly realized that this is the time I joined the institute. " I was actually reborn" I say while being shocked that I was actually turn back to time.

'I remembered that I was surrounded by a sage emperor and six diety rank beast and I died in the battle, it seems I was really reborn after I died' while I was thinking about my circumstances,

I looked to my right side and I saw familiar faces, it was lu piao and du zhe, these is my brothers who shares a life and death battle with me by protecting the city but there faces right now are still immature,

During our escape, One survivor after another died in the desert. One day, We were surrounded by the beast in the desert, And when the beast are nearly taking my life I see magnus and ziyun running to me while calling my name, Magnus blocked the attacked but it got passed and hit his body and blood start pouring out to his body but he can still kicked so we run together while I was assisting magnus.

While we are running a beast suddenly appeared in the side of ziyun ready to pounce at her but when magnus see this he immediately go to ziyun as ziyun is the lover of magnus, magnud attack the beast and he killed it but at the same time he also got hit, I see in his eyes similar to the other survivor that have a resolution to live but magnus know that he don't have time so he looked to me while saying stuttering 'Li... P-please take care of zi..yun for me' and after magnus said it he passed away, I see to my side and see ziyun crying while screaming magnus name and I said to magnud 'I promised' Then I start dragging ziyun that seemed reluctant to leave magnus, "Sigh....."

After we get away I start developing a feeling for ziyun but she don't reciprocate my feeling as she was still in love on guiren, I didn't pester her but I still stay by her side as I my life was given by magnus. Since that day we encountered new things but I can see in the eyes of ziyun that contain of hopeless that death is much more good that living in hell and after that I see in her eyes, she killed herself tommorow. I cried the whole day and start myself getting stronger as I know that I can only protect myself but when I already have the strength, a sage emperor and 6 deity rank beast surrounded me and I died.

"Since I'm back, the heavens have given me another chance. I will not let destruction of glory city happen again. Sage emperor, the next time we meet, I'll slaughter you, and avenge my previous life."

I can see nie li are thinking what are happening right now and start planning what he need to do to get stronger and he keeps looking to lu piao, du ze, to me and ziyun 'nie li I know that you're thinking of snatching zi yun from me right now but I won't let it happen as you are only my pawn for my greatness.'
