On the ground which a puddle of rainwater laid and reflected the outrageous brilliance of the midnight moonlight, a very short tremor assailed the earth before a group of men wearing obsidian leather armour trampled over it one after the other.

Their footwork alone sent the earth into a minor instability. Even those untrammelled beings engaging in an ongoing world war about miles away felt the ground had awoken from its endless slumber and prepared to devour them.

These men lunged themselves inordinately towards a fifty metres cabin concealed by the forest shadows.

Although they exuded the pressure of a thousand cavalry, it was without a doubt they looked liked preys who escaped the claws of a lion. In a matter of few seconds, they covered the distance of the cabin and theirs which spanned over tens of metres.

Bam!

The door to the cabin was bashed out, breaking through the opposite wall and flying endlessly into the forest.

'Is it done?!' The man in front blurted out while lowering his left leg after the collision.

Inside the cabin were three individuals each possessed of huge scrolls almost two metres long laid horizontally at their backs. One of this man positioned a baby towards another one of them who held a bright gem effulgent in silver light. An ignorant man would, at first sight, think they were offering this baby to some kind of traditional deity.

Floating placidly in midair next to the third individual was a minor scroll with astronomical shapes and patterns within it. The symbols on the scroll immediately began to move and interconnect with each other right after the third man placed his right palm close to the floating scroll.

'I need more time.' The third man answered with a heavy voice.

Sshhnngg!

The outlines of the shapes suddenly emitted sky-blue colour after which they exited the scroll and shone upon all faces alike. After exiting, the symbols still danced and wined around themselves like cogwheels in motion.

'We were followed by the Kingdom Lords. We don't have much time!' The man who destroyed the door bellowed at the third man in rage.

The third man immersed in his ritual reacted flippantly to the other man's uneasiness. He hurriedly brought forth his left palm and placed it atop the floating symbols while they spun and danced around.

The remaining men who followed behind the intruder felt a tremor of fear take a tour around their nerves while breaking countless of sweats. If that gem was stolen from their possession, all their efforts of protecting it would be to no avail. And there was only one reason for the protection of this gem – for this ritual only!

Zzzz!

A buzzing noise resounded from the gem and silver energy broke out. The energy ran its way over to the childlike a slithering snake gaining on its prey.

Tttzzgg!

The cabin unexpectedly shook momentarily as the energy broke free. The herd of onlookers felt an outburst of an unruly power phase through them all. It should be noted these experts were nowhere lesser than a Kingdom Lord in terms of raw power but now they were exposed to a power far greater. They were exposed to the power of a Man-God, an Immortal to be!

While the energy assailed the baby continuously, the child wailed as the silver power zapped it. It wasn't long before the silver energy emanating from the gem depleted and automatically the gem cracked before dimming away.

'The interchange is completed. Now to initiate his transition.' The third man operating the scroll spoke.

After those words were uttered, the intruder suddenly sensed some strange disturbances in space. He slowly looked over his shoulders only to see four people silently staring at him. The rest of his comrades too followed in this action. They all saw the eerie outlines of the strangers' silhouette figures.

These unwanted guest's visages couldn't be deduced under the darkness but their body shapes clearly defined each one of their sexes. Among this guest was a figure with the shadow of a majestic scroll slanted at his back. The silhouette shadow of this figure gradually accentuated under the darkness as it slowly took steps into the light.

The image of a man so handsome it seemed he was an imaginary idol for women came into sight. He had a waist-level grey hair and wore an overall grey armour. On his head was the tattoo of two purple coloured spots right above his eyebrows.

'L–Lord Adamatu is here!' One of the intruder's comrades alerted everyone with fury.

This man who was Lord Adamatu took light steps to meet them then said in a low steady voice, 'You must end that ritual. For the sake of the innocent.'

The intruder gnashed his teeth and went on his mettle. He moulded his fist as they fluttered in fear and took a battle pose. 'For the sake of our lost brothers and sisters. This is a token of our gratitude so please accept it.'

'I guarantee your safety and freedom if you shut that thing down.' Lord Adamatu soothingly replied.

'Only with him shall freedom be truly achieved Now!' The intruder exclaimed.

Simultaneously, the rest of his comrades brought forward their hands and splayed their fingers apart. A very bright light diverse of many colours shone respectively around each of their wrists before expanding then waning out. After which, a ring resplendent in gold, blue and green was manifested three inches around each Ascender's wrist.

A blue line mystically drew itself horizontally upon the intruder's face then his eyes transmogrified from its original colour to deep blue. For some reason, the cloak to his leather armour was blown about in all directions like a lethal wind assailed him while he just stood there unshaken by this sequence. If one took a good look at him now, there would undoubtedly see tiny motes of deep blue light he was emitting from every sweat pole in his body.

Boom!

More pressure applied and the force swept the forest clean from its debris even his comrades were slightly affected by this.

'If I can not match you Adamatu... I would send you away for good.' He spoke with authority and his cloak danced around majestically without the rhythm of the wind.

Lord Adamatu squinted his eyes at this and informed his followers quietly, 'Do not engage.'

Unexpectedly, the moment his followers heard this, they exchanged surprise glances at each other. What did Adamatu take them for? They were Kingdom Lords. The highest position that could ever be entitled to an Ascender since time immemorial. Beneath the skies they were untrammelled. But now someone instructed them to stay put. Like they had no control over their own actions. How unspeakable.

After all, despite their unsaid annoyance towards his actions, they could only stand and concede to servility. If they were bosses in their field, he was the kingpin!

'Suicide is not an option... I'll bring you to the light.' Lord Adamatu intoned.

The intruder shot his eyes and ignored Adamatu's speech. After a few seconds, he opened them with rage and he dashed out towards Adamatu at an unimaginable momentum. Adamatu himself lunged at the intruder, leaving only afterimages and wind to his followers.

As the two closed in on themselves, they brought their fist ahead to tame the other. When both blows collided it sent them back but they still jolted at each other to exchange blows.

Voom! Voom! Bam!

Adamatu ran in zigzag movement before shifting position and his feet crossed, left in front of right. He spun on his left foot, the right coming up and out, catching his opponent up in the jaw.

Ilonoh fended off the kick by crosswise positioning his arms but he had to retreat subconsciously.

After that, Ilonoh varnished and threw an aggressive hook at Lord Adamatu who didn't even see Ilonoh leave his sight. Adamatu guarded his side but was forced back a few inches away, so immediately spread his psyche awareness to the peak. At this moment Ilonoh couldn't be seen anywhere. Only his disembodied voice echoed through the void.

'As a vessel of the Almighty Gamera of the Fourth World, I will do that which is to be done.'

Adamatu only inspected his surroundings slowly. It was now time to show what it was that made him unrivalled.

Suddenly Ilonoh appeared...

A straight jab to Adamatu's visage.. Stopped by interlocking his hands beneath Ilonoh's wrist, followed by a quick push back to rebound the attack leaving Ilonoh defenseless of his abdomen... Foosh! An aggressive kick came flying into Ilonoh's open abdomen... Bam! Bam! Bam! Triple kick took place on Ilonoh's waist, stomach and face instantaneously with only a single leg.

Ilonoh steadied himself by channelling the hit to his left leg which was planted firmly to the ground and with a swing of his hand horizontally to the right he manifested a partly animate javelin made of raw energy derived from the surrounding Mana.

'Gamera of the Fourth World, Force of the Everlasting Will!' While Ilonoh exclaimed this, he directed his opened palm towards Adamatu and an intense suction force that spun everything around was magnetised into a spiralling hole in Ilonoh's palm.

Adamatu quickly threw his enormous scroll above him and unrolled the paper in midair while being pulled by Ilonoh. The paper unfolded wasn't even up to one-third of the entire scroll but yet the length of the paper exceeded five metres and written on this scroll paper were unintelligible letters and drawings. If deciphered, these letters transcribed >Inter-spatial Distance Transition<. Adamatu slammed his hand on the paper and the letters and drawings appeared out of the scroll, forming diagrammatical symbols of multi-angular shapes twirling amongst each other.

A sudden outburst of spatial energy exploded from behind Lord Adamatu's followers before it unexpectedly began to pull everything inside it, like a black hole. While the other face of the hole released an immense pressure of force, propelling both tangible and intangible materials out from it.

As a result of both forces acting against each other, there was an implosion that created an interdimensional rift. This rift was because of both forces tearing apart the space in between Ilonoh and Lord Adamatu.

In a simpler term, if a hand band were to be pulled at both ends continuously, the band would eventually exceed its extension limits and that would only cause it to split apart.

Lord Adamatu was pushed back metres away while Ilonoh only stumbled but regain stability after three steps.

'Ilonoh, entering the Gamera plane wouldn't do any good. He has deluded you all, can't you see it?' Adamatu said with a provocative voice.

Ilonoh harrumphed at him while kneading his wrist. He then stood right and glanced inside the cabin before gazing derisively at the rift before his eyes.

Adamatu slightly creased his brows as he noticed a minor suck of space from the rift. Not only him but even his followers were thrilled by this. A swarthy gorgeous female adorned with ornaments made of pure gold and a provocative vest that concealed little parts of her body spoke.

'That rift is going to tear us apart if we don't contain it.'

'Maybe if you'd let us help this wouldn't have happened.' Said a bulky man with a blue plate complete armour. This armour was so heavy whenever he took a step, his footprint was inscribed deeply into the earth.

Adamatu remained calmer than ever at this situation. He continued to gaze deeply into Ilonoh's back – the cabin.

'They are almost done, I need to destroy that child.' Adamatu spoke.

'Wait! Any disturbance or interference in space would feed the rift more surrounding Mana to suck us al–' Before the Lady completed her speech Adamatu had disappeared as a result of him moving at the rate of a speeding bullet.

When Ilonoh saw this, he sniggered at Adamatu's attempt to stop the ritual and immediately began throwing his hands erratically around.

The surrounding materials began circling Ilonoh, his comrades, Lord Adamatu and his followers. After that, there was a heavy squall and a cobalt surge of energy which seemed to emerge from the void formed multiple tendrils while dancing and encompassing them. In a flick of time, this tendrils coalesced to form a rectangular formation imprisoning all except the cabin.

'You want to contain the rift?! Let me help you with that!'

Boom!

As he exclaimed, various sizes of shapes and drawings intertwined inside a circle and floated above for all to see. When transcribed, this pattern meant >Void Lock of the Gamera Plane<.

'I know that Mantra… It's a sub-confinement technique of the Void-lock in Gamera's plane! He's trying to imprison us hear!' The lady in the golden ornaments armour blurted out.

'And his using intense amount of Mana thereby feeding of the rift more than it should have. At this rate, it will devour us faster than we can imagine.' Said a bald man with a red dot in his forehead. This man wore a red robe and an inner yellow vest. A mighty scroll slightly bigger than Adamatu's hung at his back.

'Yah! Ilonoh! What are doing?! You seal us all in this wall!'

'Open the formation… let us out!'

His comrades out of fear yelled at him.

'What's the use? Our goal as Ascenders has been accomplished.' Ilonoh intoned.

Even Adamatu had to stop his pace when he noticed how dilated the rift had become and the suction force was increasing exponentially. Getting a pop-up bulb in his head, he spun and banged his palm on a part of his scroll paper with foreign diagrams. These diagrams meant >Inter-spatial Space Effacing<.

After that display of power, Adamatu and the rest of his followers varnished into thin air without a sound and that of the objects outside the formation appeared inside as though they had always been there.

Ilonoh's pupils shrunk when he saw this. 'Wait! No!

It took only a second for Ilonoh to realise that only him and his comrades were trapped inside the cobalt rectangular formation before the rift pulled in all matter and energy surrounding it.

The formation bent and twisted in odd ways while it glowed and later became unstable. Soon, it spun inside the rift and there was a POP! sound that followed its disappearance.

After which…

Boom!

If not for the level of Ascension Adamatu and his followers had acquired, the explosion would have thrown them endlessly into the skies. But instead, they watched and withstood the powerful gale as it burnt everything in the forest. Hundreds of miles away, the ongoing war participants were brought with a light so bright it disintegrated whatever it came in touch with.

Amidst the aftermath, four individuals stood majestically on a crater so wide its diameter spanned ten miles. Numerous sets of rocks laid on the ground while soil and debris littered the entire ground. When the smoke gradually dissipated, Adamatu and his followers walked up to the centre of the crater and found the lifeless body of Ilonoh. Surprisingly, there was not a single lacerated mark on Ilonoh's body nor was his body seared.

'One of the benefits of a Gamera, impervious to destruction.' Said the provocative woman as she glances at Ilonoh.

Adamatu stared down at Ilonoh with his head up high. Taking his palm out and splaying it, a miniature scroll the size of the middle finger spun inside. He quickly clenched this scroll, applied mana to it and it unexpectedly rematerialised into a paper which he then went down and slammed it on Ilonoh's forehead.

When the bald man saw what laid written within the scroll, he was enthralled and awestruck that Adamatu possessed such capabilities. If deciphered, the writings and drawings on the paper meant >Purified Life Mana Conveyance<.

*Gasps*

Ilonoh took in a stomach-full of air after which he deeply panted and vibrated.

'Where is Shivazi's soul?' Adamatu placed his hand on the paper atop Ilonoh's forehead as he questioned him.

A terrifying sound that seemed to be made up of numerous voices spoke, 'It has been sowed.'

'Where?' Asked the man in the lustred armour.

'In a child.' Ilonoh responded monotonously.

'Where is the child?' Adamatu enquired.

'Only the grandmaster is aware of its location.'

As he said those last words, the four redirected their sight to the position of the cabin were the grandmasters were. At this moment, the cabin was razed to black ash that mixed with the sand.

'Who is this child?' Said Adamatu as he connected his brows.

'It is…' Ilonoh paused. '…Him reincarnated.' He completed his statement word afterword.

The rest of Adamatu's followers went mute. Not like they weren't silent before. It was just they dispelled an intense disposition of failure after what they had learnt.

Adamatu, on the other hand, stood up slowly with disenchantment. He now exuded the feelings of disappointment, anger, confusion etc unable for the onlookers to comprehend. Calmly and slowly he raised his head up and stared at the moon. But suddenly he creased his brows. The others noticed but when they looked up, they couldn't see what made him contort his face.

High above them was the apparition of a man. This man had a silver-grey eye, a scarlet ponytail hair and in terms of beauty, he was just as handsome as Adamatu.

An imperceptible smirk ran across Adamatu's face as he said these words,

'I will wait for you… Shivazi.'
