1 Auxiliary Chapter: The World

In the beginning there was nothing but darkness that swallowed the cosmos. Bathala the creator of all, blew his holy breath upon the cosmos and created a world. Bathala knew that his world needed caretakers and so he created two sacred beings.

One was granted the name Mindayo and was given the gift of enchantment to protect the world. The other was granted the name Luzoan and was gifted wisdom and intellect to help in nurturing the world. Believing in his creations Bathala left his created world and fell into a deep slumber.

Upon Bathala's slumber the two scared beings grew wary against the other. Luzoan's grew frightened at the Mindayo's strength and thus decided to create weapons to protect themselves using the worlds natural resources. The Mindayo's was angered at the Luzoan's doings for they had caused destruction and used the worldly resources for selfish reasons thus they had spited them out of anger. A huge war was waged between the two sacred beings and with the war came about destruction and countless deaths.

Faced with the unfortunate results caused by the waging wars a new faction started to arise and grow in number. They called themselves the Visalaya, they were beings who were pacifists who do not wish to partake in the sacred war.

And with that the once united world broke out into three factions.

Luzoan's prided themselves with their intellect as they made use of their abilities and created weapons after weapons.

Mindayo's prided themselves with their irrefutable enchantment that was gifted to them by Bathala.

Visalaya's were beings who came from both sides that wished to remain uninolved.

The battle went on for centuries to come and countless sacrifices were made by all sides when finally Bathala has awoken from his slumber.

Angered at his creations actions Bathala angrily questioned his created beings, "Why did you wage war?!"

"We felt threatened at the sight of the Mindayo's power and so we needed something to equalize our powers with theirs. Thus we created innovations to defend ourselves with to feel safe." The Luzoan's replied.

"We saw the Luzoan's use up the worldly resources for their own selfish reasons and so we have concluded that they are a pest in nature and must be eradicated!" The Mindayo's replied.

"If you despise and feel wary against each other then you shall live apart without seeing one another and thou shall never cross paths!" Bathala yelled as he huffed in anger. The air breathed upon Bathala's nostrils created a huge veil upon the world and so the Luzoan's and Mindayo's were fated to live in the same world but are destined to never to encounter one another.

Bathala then turned to look at the Visalaya's and questioned.

"And you... why didn't you stop them?"

"We tried but we were unable to persuade them." The Visalaya's replied.

Bathala grew into a thoughtful silence before speaking, "I have created a veil that divides both Mindayo's and Luzoan's, where do you wish to live?"

The Visalaya's grew silent before a brave man stood up and knelt before Bathala. "Us lowly beings wish to live upon a sanctuary world where peace reigns forever strong!"

Bathala glanced at the brave man and gave a soft chuckle of amusement, "Interesting. A sanctuary you say? I shall grant your wish however, in exchange for granting you a sanctuary you shall all start from the very beginning! I shall take away my gifts and you must all survive with what you have!"

The Visalaya's agreed with Bathala's demands and so Bathala breathed into the cosmos and breathed life into another world.

The world they had received was a sanctuary that had it all. It was filled with green leaves, rocky mountains, flowing water and it was filled with magic that was what they referred to as Mahika.

Mahika was what drives this worlds system. It powers the sea, it grows the trees, it flashes lightning, it falls down rain. Mahika was everything.

The Visalaya's who were left with nothing, as Bathala ordered started from scratch. They built fire, started planting and did everything to survive the sanctuary world. Visalaya's continued to live as one with the worlds Mahika that their bodies started adapting into it. The longer the evolution the more they were able to adapt to the sanctuary worlds Mahika. The people who lived through plantation were able to control plants, people who lived near snow are able to control ice, people living in tropical lands are able to control fire.... and as the Visalaya's evolution continues in evolving, the broader and the more Mahika was adapted onto their beings.

The Two types of Mahika:

- Natural Mahika [ Mahika which is produced in the environment. ]

- Hiram Mahika [ Visalaya's evolved adapted mahika. ]

The Two types of Hiram Mahika:

- Elemental [ Fire, wood, light, water, snow etc. ]

- Pisikal [ Strenth, Speed, Agility, Physical Mutilation etc. ]
