13 War

The screams of the men echoed throughout the forest as we heard their dying cries.

"Why didn't you tell me we were surrounded earlier?" Sasha asks.

"I wanted too but someone started screaming in my face," I say pretending not to know who.

"Fucking HQ sending idiots," She says as she gives out the order's for her men to charge.

Leaving us alone she speaks rapidly telling me, "Whatever, this is fine. I just get to fight sooner than I thought. But you need to get out of here. I can't use my ability because you are too high of a level."

"What's with this world and no one having defense?" I say aloud.

"Huh? What are you rambling on about quickly leave the area."

The screams never stopped as men died every passing second.

"Even though I don't do 'allies' your ability seems like it could come in use."

"Hey idiot, stop talking to yourself and-"

'Inflation'

"And leave, yeah I got it."

"But this is my first war and I want to have fun!" I say as I move away from the puddle of Sasha's remains.

Walking towards the now ending screams I try something I always wanted to.

Walking through the red-stained forest, body parts lay everywhere.

"You kill your own kind?" Asked one of the beasts as he approaches me followed by eleven others.

"They are not my kind," I say.

'I will never care for the ones that forgot me. In fact, I'll be their undoing.'

"And neither are you," I finish.

'Inflation'

The beasts that saw their friends blowing up became enraged and ran at me.

The closer they got the faster they died.

'Inflation'

Blood rained down falling on me as some of the beasts jumped at me.

The camouflaged monsters were now dark red standing out like a sore thumb.

'Inflation'

Only two remained one on each of my sides.

'Inflation'

Turning to my left, where the last beast stood I swear I could see fear in his eyes.

"Damn, I didn't even level up," I complain aloud.

'That was fun!'

Turning back to go to where I killed Sasha I take a look at the map she was previously staring at.

'Hmm'

'There's a division to my left and three behind me.'

'This group and the other is probably their frontlines.'

But a huge black dot behind the three back squads intrigues me.

'That's most likely their HQ.'

'Where to go… uh, do I take out their frontline? Do I try to attack the base? Can I take out their base?'

'No! I got it! I almost forgot about that ability.'

Instead of flying towards the markers on the map, I fly in the opposite direction.

'I'm going to become the mastermind!'

Flying at the speeds in which I did in space, on the planet it could be described as teleportation.

Arriving at the edge of what was explored on the map in less than a second I once again drop below the treetops.

'Thermal Sight'

"Oh," I mutter.

My eyes were blinded by the heat signatures.

'Looks like I entered their den…'

"Hi," I say sheepishly.

*ROAR*

Turning my head towards the deafening sound I admire as my childhood fantasy comes true.

A dragon.

I had already fought all kinds of different monsters since I arrived.

The first was a big cat but at Sasha's camp, there were snakes, birds, and other animals mixed in.

"Human how dare you enter my lands!" The thundering voice of the dragon exclaims.

'GOD'S EYE'

'What?'

"Did you really think something that weak would work on me?" The dragon huffed.

Abilities - ???

There had been special people that GOD'S EYE didn't fully show before, like with Eli, but never had a blank screen been shown or been blocked.

"My apologies I have a habit of always using it on someone new that I meet. Plus I enjoy watching them squirm when I call them by their names."

The dragon seemed unamused.

"Anyways… I can here to offer you a deal."

"You? A puny human came to offer ME a deal?!"

"Yeah, it seemed like you needed some help dealing with the humans."

"You yourself are a human, how about I just deal with you."

"Do. Not. Refer. Them. To. Me." I say with a threatening tone.

"You ruined my mood. You obviously are in poor health. Your threat was empty and your soldiers are dying. You're losing. I can remove the humans from this planet if you pay the price," I say becoming serious.

"What price?" He asks.

"Your life,"

"Hahaha! Do you think I will let you kill me? I am a glorious dragon I will not be defeated!"

"YOU ALREADY LOST!" I scream.

"How many more of your kind must die before you understand. The humans already won. It's just a matter of time and you don't have it. You considered my deal which confirmed that I was right, you are dying."

"Just end it. Sacrifice your life to me and I swear I will erase the existence of humanity on Hive."

The dragon became quiet and it seemed like he was deep in thought.

"Do you swear that you end all of the human's lives?" He asks.

"I do," I respond.

"So be it," he concludes.
