Taking two beauties back to his temporary base

Soon the door opened, and both of them entered. Everything was covered in tarpaulin. She reached out her hand, held it, and pulled it gracefully. A little dust flew into the air, revealing a large quantity of ore and weapons lying on the floor.

"Wow," Kael's eyes lit up brightly.

"System, scan everything in the room and give me the details of the ore and weapons," Kael asked.

[There is more than 100 kg of precious metal available and more than 40 guns and 30 bullet cases. Host, congratulations on completing the side quest. This metal can be used to develop battle armor that is both flexible and light...]

The ore in the room completely disappeared into thin air.

"Don't worry, it was me who took the ore," said Kael, looking at Charlotte.

"Oh, okay," Charlotte nodded with a blank look on her face.

She knew about his ability to take things out of thin air, but she never thought he could also make things disappear into thin air.

Next, he stored the guns and bullet cases. There was still one hour left for the armor creation.

Both of them stepped out of the storage room and moved towards the main hall. Soon they arrived, and Charlotte hurriedly gave orders to her subordinates. All three of them then moved out of the Vulture Claws shelter. Kael and two young ladies walked towards the temporary base.

Meanwhile, at the Millar family estate...

"What happened to you, son? Why are you shaking like this?" asked the middle-aged woman with concerned eyes.

"Where are the guards that went with you?" asked the middle-aged man, his brows furrowed.

Veer didn't respond to their questions. He kept staring blankly, which made the middle-aged man angry.

Slap...

"You useless bastard, what happened to our guards? You took more than 20 guards with you when you went to that survivor camp to warn them, but you return alone with a terrified look on your face. Tell me, what happened to those guards?" asked the middle-aged man, gritting his teeth angrily.

"Demon... He is a demon..." exclaimed Veer, his eyes bloodshot as he looked at his father.

"Demon? What are you talking about? Are you talking about a zombie?" asked the middle-aged man, his brows still furrowed.

"No... He is a demon... He is a demon..."

Before he could finish, he was interrupted by his mother. "Husband, stop it. Our son is never like this. He saw something that scared him this much. We will talk about it with him when he completely recovers from his trauma. Until then, don't disturb him. I don't want our son to be a retard."

The middle-aged man shook his head and gestured with his hand. "Okay, take him away from here. Don't let anyone meet him. Take care of him yourself. I don't want others to see his pathetic self, and I don't want to lose my reputation because of this useless bastard."

The middle-aged woman glared at him angrily but didn't retort. She took her son away from the hall.

"Hmph," the middle-aged man scoffed as he watched the backs of his son and wife disappear.

"Neel," he called.

A man wearing black armor from head to toe appeared from the shadows. "Boss," he said, kneeling in front of the middle-aged man.

"Find out who took down my guards and scared the shit out of my useless son," the middle-aged man commanded, sitting comfortably in his chair.

"Okay, boss," Neel replied, disappearing into the shadows. The middle-aged man leaned back with a frown on his face.

Meanwhile, at the Winston estate...

"Uncle, why are you so happy?" asked the young lady with a curious look on her face.

She had a mature body with perfect hourglass curves and a charming smile. She looked like an angel who had just descended from heaven.

"Haha, that old bastard Millar kicked the iron plate this time," the middle-aged man said with a boastful laugh.

"Come on, Uncle, don't keep me in suspense. Tell me already," the young lady said, shaking her uncle's hand.

"Okay, okay, stop shaking me. I'll tell you." The middle-aged man paused briefly and continued, "Have you heard about the conflict at the mines occupied illegally by those Millar bastards?"

"Yeah, I've heard," the young lady nodded.

"It's not just a normal survivor camp. Millar actually had a conflict with a shelter that seems to be under the protection of someone very strong. I heard that more than 20 guards sent by the Millar family perished at the shelter, and even Veer was scared silly," the middle-aged man said, rubbing his beard with a happy smile.

"Great, but is there someone as strong as the usual prominent families who can go against the Millar family?" the young lady asked, looking confused.

The middle-aged man shook his head. "Remember, if you think you're strong, there will always be someone stronger."

"Hmm," the young lady nodded, looking somewhat understanding.

The middle-aged man shook his head and didn't explain further.

"There's someone stronger than the prominent families in the colony?" the young lady murmured with an intrigued look on her face.

Meanwhile, at Kael's temporary base...

"Hey kids, it's me. Open the door," said Kael, standing in front of the door.

The kid guarding the main door didn't open it immediately. Instead, he shouted, "Hey, check who's outside our building!"

"Okay," the kid on the first floor replied. He peeked out of the window and soon caught sight of Kael. He immediately shouted back, "Open the door, it's our boss!"

As soon as the kid on the first floor finished shouting, the kid guarding the main door opened it and bowed respectfully.

Kael patted his shoulder and walked inside, followed by two young ladies who curiously looked around.

"He is surely a weird guy. Kids are a burden in this current world. Why does he even keep them with him?" Charlotte murmured, an interesting smile curling on her lips.

In a few minutes, all three of them reached the main hall, and the four young ladies hurriedly came to meet him as soon as they heard of Kael's arrival.
