3 Chapter 3 : Aura

In a nicely decorated room quite large with a purple carpet, a massive chain desk, several works of art, a man wearing a white tuxedo was sitting on a couch drinking a glass of wine, behind him were two men each carrying a machine gun.

The man was tall with scars on his face, he had short blond hair and a calm look.

"Zunoj hasn't come back yet?"

One of the gunmen carrying machine guns hearing the question answered quickly.

"No, it's been more than two hours since he went after the man who attacked you in your house this morning."

The man continued to drink his drink quietly, as if he didn't care about anything.

His name was Pero, he was a former murderer and leader of the gang of violets, Zunoj was his right-hand man, although he was a cruel person and strangely sadistic, he was a skillful nen user having created his own hatsu.

Zunoj's hatsu, Soul Knife, allowed him to slice and wound an opponent without inflicting visible physical damage, no bleeding, no trace of wounds, it was a very useful hatsu for murder without leaving any evidence.

"Our activities caught the attention of the city's high officials, they surely had to put a price on my head, increase surveillance and told the other to increase security."

"Yes, boss!"

Pero, tasting his glass of wine, stopped and turned his head toward the door, which slowly opened.

The corpse of one of his henchmen fell to the ground before Pero's eyes, and his guards pointed their machine guns at the door.

Two projectiles launched at an indescribable speed pierce the skulls of his two guards, killing them in an instant.

The glass of wine in Pero's hand fell to the ground, a whitish aura slowly emanated from him, he hastened to pick up the weapon of his guards whose corpse lay on the ground and aimed at the door.

From the slightly dark hallway, he saw a red-eyed young man enter the room with calm footsteps and a cold face coming towards him unhurriedly.

"Don't move, do you know who you are attacking? I am Pero...."

The young man, without letting him finish his sentence, leaned forward and ran at full speed towards him.

Pero then unconsciously pulled the trigger and shot the young man without hesitation.

*Prarr*

The young man, like a ghost, dodged all the bullets at an incredible speed and without even giving him time to react hit him with a powerful kick to the skull, knocking him out with a single blow.

Pero being a feared and well known former murderer, he was confident in his strength add to this his mastery of nen, he never thought he would be defeated so easily.

"It's finally done, now I have to take this guy to the police."

Raigo lifted his target off the ground and put it on his shoulder before heading for the exit.

On his way, he stepped over the bodies of several people before leaving the building.

Two hours later, in a motel room, Raigo was sitting on a single bed, holding a 5,000,000J check in his hands.

"With today's technology the banks doesn't even have a credit card."

He put the check in his pocket and looked up at the ceiling with a deep sigh.

He had already understood what kind of world he was in, the world of HunterXHunter, a world full of danger, adventure and exciting battles, when he thought about the powerful fighters of this world; a smile appeared on his lips.

"Hunter, exploring unknown places, discovering treasures, fighting powerful opponents, this world was made to measure for me."

"But before I begin Hunter's work I must first improve my aura control."

Aura is the life energy produced by all living bodies vital for survival.

Aura from all parts of the body has a tendency to flow together, producing one mass of energy, this happens without the individual's awareness, typically resulting in a slow leak of aura continually escaping the body and stemming up and off the top of the head.

The pores or points on the body from which aura flows out from are called "Aura Nodes or Shōkō.

Only someone whose Aura Nodes located in the eyes are opened can see aura, since every living being emits aura subconsciously, learning to sense aura is a useful skill for those tracking living things or hunting non-living things infused with aura. 

There are six types of aura; every individual is born having one of these six different aura types, upon learning one's own aura type.

One can determine his nen type by the water divination , this divination requires floating a leaf on a glass of water.

A student from Nen will place his hands around the glass and perform Ren.

The effect resulting from the contact of a person's aura with the glass will determine the type of aura of that person.

Raigo's predecessor's teacher had not taught him any of this information, it all comes from his memory, he was after all a want Otaku confirm fan of HXH.

Usually apart from a few rare teachers like Wing or Biscuit, the nen teachers of the Hunter association gave little indication to their disciples, a hunter was generally a very busy person, he had little time to devote to a student so he hurried to inculcate the basics before leaving at full speed.

Teaching a student all the principles of nen correctly could take years, they didn't have that much time to waste.

He did not blame his teacher because in reality his talent could not be qualified as common, nobody wasted his time teaching a student as useless as him.

He got up from the bed, left his room for a while and came back with a glass of water and a leaf, he put the leaf on the gwater and then sat down and put his palms against the glass of water.

A white aura slowly emanated from his hands.
