210 She Was The Price

Ana had never felt that better after seeing Garrison in her room. When the maids announced that he had arrived, her eyes finally calmed.

All night, she was awake, making sure that Luke was engaged. They marked positions on maps, then ordered the knights and made teams.

Asked the maids to arrange everything. Everytime, he tried to leave, She used the excuse that she would need a butler for commanding the maids. Though they both know it was unnecessary.

He only laughed at her struggles and enjoyed it. His eyes often paused at her curves and her hands were waiting at the hilt of her dagger.

The night was nothing less than a mental war that had kept her alert. Liam had joined them. But that was not enough. It gave her some confidence that Luke would not try anything in the presence of others but a dangerous man like him would only need a second to trap her.
