It was rare for people to come meet them. Her grandmother was treated as senile by many. Perhaps someone from John's family. Penny hurried in her steps with that thought.

She ran to the back garden where her grandmother plants trees. 

"Grandma, who has come to meet you?" She tried to hide the anxiety in her voice, but failed miserably. 

"Ah, it is a dressmaker. She will stitch you a pretty wedding dress." huh! Penny paused and stared at the young woman smiling at her grandmother. She had seen her in the market a few times but they never had the chance to conversate before.

"It is nice to meet you." Ana extended her hands toward the young girl and it took Penny a few seconds. She had never seen women hand shakes before. Was it a new trend?

"Are you a dressmaker?" Penny had never heard of her before as a seamstress. There were only a few of them in their town and they earned a good amount.
