175 A Chance For Both Of Them

She was confused. It was better than straight denial. At least she was giving him a chance. Or was she just overwhelmed? He stared at her face closely when he felt her uneasiness.

She looked away, avoiding contact when he sighed.

"I would love to prove to you my sincerity any way you want, but for now, I am pressed with something urgent." he chuckled as he looked at the tent.

It should have gone back into hibernation. But there she was biting her lips and staring at him with misty eyes unbridled him.

"That.." she gulped and closed her eyes as if she was collecting her courage, "what do you want me to do?" 

Like a mouse, she was trapped. Her innocence and her kindness stop her from being too mean.

She should enjoy his misery and let him suffer yet she was ready to give him a chance to feel his misery.
