The woman took out packets after packets. The elders came forward and opened the letters.

"Is she telling the truth?" Ana was surprised that Garrison asked the question. But when she noticed everyone's eyes, she realized it must be about his respect now.

"Yes, your highness, the writing belongs to our lord. The woman is telling the truth." an elder came forward and took her child in his arms.

He checked the mole closely and nodded to others.

"No! It could not be true. My husband would never do that. She is a commoner. Do you think Fredrick would do that?" Hannah held her dress tightly. 

She wanted to lunge forward and attack the woman but the elders hid the woman behind them.

"We did not know how it happened. But the woman is indeed his wife and there is no law to fix the number of wives a noble could have." They stared at her coldly.
