Jisoo: "Are you okay?! Tell me you're okay!"

Y/N: "I'm fine. Why are you guys here?"

Jisoo: "Seokjin told me you came to the hospital today! What happened?!"

Y/N: "I just got a small cut, okay?"

Their worried expressions relax, and they look confused.

Taehyung: "Why would you go to the hospital for a cut?"

Y/N: "I didn't want to, but this guy made me."

I gesture towards Jungkook, and my friends finally acknowledge him.

Taehyung: "Who's this?"

Y/N: "Taehyung, Jisoo, this is Jeon Jungkook. He's been my friend since I was born. Jungkook, this is Taehyung and Jisoo. My best friends since highschool."

Jungkook: "So you're Taehyung?"

Taehyung: "Yeah...?"

Jungkook glances between Taehyung and Jisoo, and I swear his gaze lingers on Jisoo for longer.

Taehyung: "How come we've never met Jungkook before?"

Y/N: "Well, he used to live in Busan."

Taehyung: "So, are you like her boyfriend or something."

Jungkook: "No, I'm just her friend."

Taehyung: "Okay…"

There's a long awkward silence until one of the waitresses comes over.

Sarah: "Here's your coffee. You forgot to grab it earlier."

Jungkook: "Oh, thanks. I should get going. But it was nice meeting you guys."

Jisoo: "You too."

He walks out the door and the tension goes along with him.

After a few minutes, I walk to the counter and grab a pad to start taking orders.

I'm about to walk to a table, when I see Taehyung staring at me.

Y/N: "What?"

Taehyung: "Are you sure you don't like him?"

Y/N: "What- yes, I'm sure.!"

Taehyung: "Really? Because it seems like you do."

Y/N: (sarcastically) "Why do you care? Are you jealous?"

Taehyung: "Yes."

Y/N: "What?"

Taehyung: "I'm joking. But seriously, don't date the guy. If you break up it'll ruin your friendship."

Y/N: "Don't worry, I won't make that mistake."

again…

Jisoo: "Okay, let's stop talking about Jungkook now. I've been meaning to tell you, Y/N, that my parents rented a beach house. Taehyung and I thought it would be fun if the three of us went there together."

Taehyung: "It'll be a whole weekend of fun and relaxation."

Y/N: "I can't go on the trip, I have to work."

Jisoo: "Come on, it's just for a weekend! Plus, you need a break. You work 15 hours every day."

Y/N: "That's because I need to pay my rent. It's not like my dad is going to lend me money. His wife would never allow that. Plus, I have to take care of Mandu and Iseul."

Jisoo: "I've never seen anyone work as hard as you do, and I'm proud."

She pulls me into a hug and pats my back.

Jisoo: "If you want, I can try to get you an interview at our company. We get paid a lot more than you do at the cafe."

Y/N: "Really? That'd be great."

Jisoo: "No problem."

Y/N: "What would I have to do?"

Jisoo: "Uh… I'm not sure. Usually I just sit there and stare at the computer."

Taehyung: "I'm surprised she hasn't gotten fired yet. But, our boss is really nice."

Y/N: "Oh, that's good."

Taehyung: "Speaking of, we're going to be late for work."

Jisoo: "Right. Bye, Y/N!"

Y/N: "Bye guys."
