I wake up to the annoying beep of my alarm. Slapping the snooze button, I stretch and yawn.
As soon as I get out of bed, my dog, Mandu, runs up to me. I scratch behind his ears before starting my morning routine. I take a shower, brush my teeth, then enter my closet and pick out an outfit for work. Once I'm satisfied, I head to the kitchen and make a bagel. I finish eating, then get my dog food and water for the day.
Y/N: "Be a good boy, okay?"
Mandu just wags his tail and pants with his tongue sticking out.
?: Your music was so loud last night, I could hear it through your floors.
I jump and turn around to see Yoongi standing in my doorway.

Yoongi: "You left the door unlocked."

Yoongi: "One of these days someone's going to break in, so don't come crying to me."
Y/N: "It's okay Yoongi, you can just say you care about me."
Yoongi: "Care about you? I care more about your dog. I wouldn't want Mandu to run away or get dognapped."
Y/N: "Sure… Anyways, I'll try to keep it down tonight."
Yoongi: "Good, because I'm losing precious sleep because of you."
Y/N: "All you ever do is sleep. I'm helping you out by making you come out of your house to complain to me every day."
Yoongi: "Psh, helping out…"
Y/N: "Exactly. I'll see you later, I have to get my sister."
I take a taxi and go to my sister's house to pick her up for school.
I knock on the huge door and wait for the maid to answer.
Y/N: "Good morning Mrs. Choi."
Mrs. Choi: "Good morning dear! Come on in."
Y/N: "Iseul! Are you ready?"
Iseul: "Yes!"
She comes around the corner with her backpack, and runs up to greet me.
Step mom: "What are you doing here?"
Y/N: "I'm here to take Iseul to school. Like I do every weekday."
Step mom: "No, I mean what are you doing inside my house? I thought I told you to stay as far away from me as possible."
Y/N: "Don't worry, I was just about to leave. Also, Iseul is having a school play tonight. Are you coming?"
Step mom: "Why would I waste my time going to a stupid school play?"
Y/N: "That's what I thought you'd say. Come on Iseul."
My mother died seven years ago, and it didn't take long before my father remarried. My dad and stepmom had a daughter, but they barely even notice she's there. I moved out of the house a few years ago to get away from those two, but my poor sister is stuck with them. I'm more of a mom to her than her actual mom could ever be. I drive her to school, pick her up from school, and I watch her while I'm on my night shift until it's time to take her back home. Someday, I will get her free from that prison.
After dropping off Iseul at school, I walk to the cafe where I work as a waitress.
The cafe isn't open yet, so the place is empty except for the other waiters and waitresses.
I pick up an apron and wrap it around my waist
When it's time for the cafe to open, I unlock the doors and wait for customers.
A man in a police uniform walks in, and I turn around to start preparing coffee.
Waitress: "Hi, what can we get you?"
?: "I'll just have a black coffee."
I turn back around with a pitcher in hand, and freeze in shock.
Y/N: "Jungkook?"
Jungkook: (eyes wide) "Y/N?"
