146 Captured

The housewalls shook for a second, before they settled down. However, Lihar knew that this moment of calm was fake.

'Shit! Shit! Shit! Run! Run! Run!'

Lihar wasn't fast enough, though, and the walls trapped him inbetween. He stood hovering for a few seconds, before all the rubble fell on the ground. The mage had let go of his control over the earth that was binding him.

For a moment, he imagined his body to be crushed under all this rubble, but through some miracle, he was still alive.

He was still stuck, but the clay walls had fallen on him in a way that didn't crush his head into pulp immediately. It was also thankful that there weren't any bricks in the walls, as most of the houses in the Architects Quarter were made with wooden walls that were held together by clay.

Though the clay was hard, it had all sorts of shapes and sizes and some even had a bit of wood stuck onto them. If the walls were made of brick, then Lihar would've been long dead.
