I miss you more than anything

<p>All this time I've lived in secrecy, In a secluded and dilapidated cottage, There me and my mother resides. She said, "Aeris, you are to live this way. You mustn't dream of the things you see in books. You are a smart girl, you must always keep this in your mind" <br/>Back then, I didn't understand her words. <br/>"why?"—why are we living this way? <br/>In the middle of nowhere, We live off of fruits in the forest to survive. The night is always cold, And the wind always brings despair. The cracks in the wooden ceiling doesn't keep the raindrops away from maybe flooding the house. <br/>Is that not enough reason to try and live a better lifestyle than this? <br/> <br/><br/>That night, I dreamt of wearing expensive shoes that took me to good places.<br/> I dreamt of wearing a luxurious dress for noble ladies adorned in jewels, and endless gems.<br/>A beautiful house to call "home", And in that so called "home" There is family to welcome me.<br/><br/>I was awoken by the coruscant rays of light. Slowly adjusting to this gleaming source,<br/>I saw my mother on the front door with a man.<br/>He held a lamp and seemed to be threatening <br/>my mother, I mean why else would she be like that? <br/>Her shoulders slouches and she appears to become shrunken when she is frightened. Her hands clasped together to cover her mouth in shock, and her back twitches when she is anxious. <br/>What kind of person is this man to make my mother look so horrified to the point that she might just faint? No,<br/>Who on Earth is he?<br/><br/>Staying in bed, whilst fighting the urge to go back to my slumber, i tried to listen in their conversation translating in my mind incoherently as thunder rumble in the distance<br/><br/>"Annalise.....away...go back ..rest"<br/>Now, I really tried to make up words to connect and have what i heard make sense, However i was truly out of it and as a 13 year old, tired from pulling weed on the yard, searching for herbs in the forest tirelessly, I was too exhausted to get my willpower and my eyelids not cooperating made it even more excruciating. <br/><br/>If, Only i had the deities on my side and sent me a premonition about the future, Would this have happened ? </p>
