1 1- Hey! That's mine!

CHINKY's POV

Months ago, I graduated in Fashion Designing course at one of the most beautiful and most expensive schools for Fashion Designing in the country — as Cum Laude. But I didn't go to that school because we were rich but because I was a scholar and all my tuition fees were free.

My school also recommends me to the company I am going to work. I heard that our college Dean and the President of the company were friends, so, i was blessed.

I submitted my resumé and after the interview, they said that I passed. I was like floating in the air, heaven and still couldn't believe it!

LEGACY, is one of the country's most prestigious and most well-known Fashion clothing, so it's very overwhelming and proud to be part of this company.

And once I've saved up a lot of money from my paycheck, advance? Ha-ha! Of course, I want to help my family, and also to improve my profession, I want to get a masters degree in France, where it is one of the most prominent countries in the field of Fashion.

Wait a minute, I'll just tell you a little secret about my life while waiting for my ride going to work.

My family is from Pangasinan but I am here in Manila where I studied college and my soon to be working place. I'm Chinita Kaye Villaruz or 'Chinky' for short, I'm not chinita or my blood is not mixed with chinese's, so, I don't know why mother named me that.

I asked her once and she said 'trip-trip lang'. I don't know but my Nanay is weird, sometimes.

I'm now twenty one years old and a certified-slash-verified NBSB. Because nobody could see the abstract beauty in me since it's really hidden that only a true artists could see.

My family is in the Province, so I live here in Manila alone. My Nanay is a fish vendor in the market, but I'm very proud her. I have two "ate" named Josephine and Pilar and they already have a family of their own. My sisters both studied in the province and completed their college education with a two year course.

My father is already in heaven with Papa Jesus. He died from a car accident, six years ago. It was really sad because he didn't see me graduated in college with flying colors but I know he's happy for me, too.

And here I am, goinh to a very good company. Hope the people there are nice and I can get along quickly.

Well, finally my ride is here, sorry for the long story of my life. Gotta go!

I JUST entered Legacy — the company I was referring to earlier, and I was like... wow! Surprisingly, this company is really huge, and it's really cool inside. The beauty and the cleanliness of the whole environment are breathtaking. Kinda ignorant here. Ha-ha! My heart is full of joy and happiness! I can't really explain it in words.

I greeted everyone with a wide smile and got curious if their smiles are being paid here? They looked serious. And it seemed that ugly ones are banned in this company because I noticed that all these people are beautiful like celebrities and models.

I close my mouth. Oh my God! Will they kick me out because I don't belong here?

I took the elevator to the room where the Fashion Designing Team is located. And when I got inside, my eyes widened. Wow! And everyone around was busy — busy talking to one another (maybe because the Boss is not yet around)

"Excuse me guys, let me introduce to you our new member," Ms. Lucila proclaimed. Ms. Lucila is the Team Captain of the FD team that I met earlier in the hallway. "She is Chinita Kaye Villaruz, she's a fresh graduate, so, you can teach her what to do." she added then tapped my shoulders and wished me good luck before she went out of the room.

I am nervous with the gazes, they are not like Ms. Lucila who looked approachable, it feels like they're gonna eat me. I took a deep breath. I approached them one by one and introduce myself properly.

I got their names: Tanya — the beautiful girl. Evelyn - the girl with one eyebrow line. Lair - cute but snobbish. Sarah - cute and the only person who shook my hand. And Josa and Jowi, gay friends who looks funny and kind.

I was always a shy type and a nerdy-geek girl, who loves being alone but now I'll try to get closer to them.

I sat down in the cubicle I was assigned to, I put down my belongings; my family picture, sketchpads and pencils and my other treasures. Almost all of my things were occupied my desk, so, I was taken aback.

"I feel like drinking a coffee!" I heard one of them speak.

I stand where I am and I approach them. "I'll buy coffee, if you want." I'm volunteering.

I saw them all smile at me. So, they gave me the collected money for their coffees and then I left the room to buy at the Starbucks at the crossing.

As soon as I got to the coffee shop I went straight in. I know the coffee here at Strabucks is great, but I don't think I can afford it, can you imagine how coffee and pastries would cost? No way! It's like my allowance for two days and with that amount, I already could buy lots of foods outside.

After I ordered, they said I'd just wait my name to be called. As I waited, my stomach suddenly roared. I'm hungry! I didn't have my breakfast because I was too excited to get to work.

I went out to Starbucks to find a restaurant nearer, I need to fill my stomach first and will return in a few.

I found a restaurant. The area was small but the foods looks amazing and delicious. I ordered a chocolate cake and an orange juice. Funny thing, it cost me only forty pesos and i'm satisfied.

CHRYSLER's POV

I heaved a sigh. I feel so weak that my whole body is so stressed out and so tired! Ever since I took over our Clothing Business, I haven't had a day off. Before, I thought Daddy and Mommy--who worked in the company as President and VP--worked like easy peasy, because they looked so happy but I was extremely wrong. That was before they met an accident,

Grandma was the one who kept running the company. So, after I graduated from college, she asked me to help her run the company. Now, I understand that it's really hard. At the age of twenty five, I am now the President of my family's Company, proud but exhausted.

Damn! I haven't slept since last night, because I went through a lot of paperworks that I took home, and I still have a meeting with the Committee at 10AM.

I parked my car on the side of the road. I need a coffee to awaken my brain and muscles.

"Good morning, Sir." The female crew on the counter greeted and smiled at me.

I noticed that everyone in the coffeeshop were looking at me. Do i looked so attractive and oozing with so much appeal? Well, blame it all on my parents for having such good genes. I am guilty as charged! I smiled to myself.

I have already ordered my coffee. But I didn't realize that it was already 10AM and I didn't want to be late in the meeting even though I was the Boss, because I wanted to be a good example for my employees. Should I just leave my coffee?

"Ms. Chinky!"

The female crew shouted that name for three to four times. What the heck? Then suddenly came up with a great idea.

What if I just swap Chinky's coffee for my coffee? She's still not around because the crew is still calling out her name. Hmm... I nodded and grinned at the good idea that had entered my mind.

So, as I approached the counter, I told the female crew that I would just exchange the coffee I ordered since the owner is not yet around and it was approved quickly, so I took Chinky's coffee right away. I am in a hurry. I'm sorry, Chinky or whatever the name is!

I was about to leave when someone shouted loudly. I thought there was a fire inside the coffee shop.

"Hey! That's mine!"

I listened to the female voice that shouted behind me. And when I turned my back I saw a little girl with a super full bangs and a thick eyeglasses.

She screamed like there's no tonorrow. She should've join the guinness book of world record as the loudest human on earth. Maybe she'll be included there. I was surprised when she suddenly approached me.

"Hey! That's mine!" she said repeatedly. And quickly grabbed the coffee in my hand. "Didn't you read it — C-H-I-N-K-Y." He even showed me her name written on the cup.

So, this girl is Chinky? But too late because the coffee is mine now. I snatched that coffee from her, which surprised her too.

"I'm in a hurry, you can have mine since we both have the same order." I told her before I disappered in front of her but got shocked when she was quickly in front of me.

"I'm in a hurry too!" Her forehead was wrinkled.

She was supposed to snatch the coffee in my hand but I raised it away from her, she's so small that she couldn't reach it in my hand. "Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!" I laughed. She needed to drink Growee or Cherifer to help her grow. I smirked. "It's your fault for leaving your coffee!" I blamed her. But the girl didn't stop jumping in front of me just to get the coffee in my hand. "Oh well, would you still like this coffee, after I do this?" Then I quickly drank the cup of coffee and licked it all around.

I smirked again when I saw her reaction, she was like an active volcano that would gonna errupt at any seconds. God! I never did this before, but I'm just forced to do this because of her.

"You still want this?" I asked her.

"Get lost, you ewwy creature!!" She screamed and threw me a death terrifying look.

Woah! I was dumbfounded. She was the only girl who looked at me like i am the worst person in the world. What a weird girl.

I was about to leave when I noticed something. I quickly approached her and whispered to her ear.

"Ewwy creature, huh?! How about looking at yourself in the mirror first?" Then I quickly turned away and smiled sarcastically. Finally, I left the area peacefully. "Bwa-ha-ha-ha!"

CHINKY's POV

Argh! He's annoying! That man would be so handsome if he were not just rude and unprofessional!

I was really angry when he said we would exchange our coffees because he was already late. How bout me? God! And I know, the female crew immediately agreed to his idea because he was really good looking and i hated the fact that they were manipulated by his charm. Tsk.. Tsk .. He was attractive, alright but I will never be blinded! As in never ever!

"Ewwy creature, huh?! How about looking at yourself in the mirror first?" I remember he said that pissed me a lot!

I know, I'm not beautiful, he shouldn't said that. Now, i am now concious in my appearance, so, I excused myself for a bit left the coffee to see myself in the CR's mirror. I pleaded the crews not to trade my coffees again to any good looking men, or elsw I gonna feed them to crocodiles and sharks! Hmf!

As soon as I entered the CR, I immediately looked in the mirror. I looked the same, I still have my full bangs and stuffs, that ewwy creature must be nuts. Tsk!

But my eyes widened when I saw the reflection of my teeth in the mirror. Oh, my God! I have a black thing from the chocolate cake I ate earlier.

Embarrassing! I even smiled to everyone I met inside the coffee shop awile ago. This is hilarious! (Face palm) Maybe the people smiled back because of the cake in my teeth. That annoying guy was right. I am really an eww!

"WHY ARE you late?" Tanya asked me when I got back to the company.

It took me a while to order their coffee and I was jinxed by that annoying guy from the coffeeshop! But seriously, why do they look so tense? So different from their auras awhile ago. Weird!

Maybe they'll get better when they drink the coffee I bought. I gave the ordered coffee to each of them.

"Why?" I wondered. They looked scared too.

"Our very handsome who look like Jang Geun Suk but kinda Devil Boss has arrived! And he noticed that your table was unoccupied, so he told us that when you arrive, go to his office. He was really strict and he didn't want his employees to be late." Sarah's long explanation.

My heart began to thump crazily. I'm nervous. And wait, they called our Boss-- Devil. Does that mean he has a Devil attitude too? Or he is a devil-looking man? No way! Now, I'm really really so nervous!

I'm dying! My heart rate is accelerating fast. But just wait, as in wait a minute! Isn't the President of this company is a woman? Since she is our dean's friend, why is Sarah saying that he is handsome but kinda Devil? Whoa! Suddenly I was confused.

"Aaah — E-I-O-U! What should I say to our Boss?" I quivered.

My shoulder dropped when they just shrugged. Oh my, what if I get fired right away? My life and my dreams will be shattered. Poor little girl.

I was really thinking, until something popped up in my mind. Aha! I thought of something! To keep him getting angry, I'll try to act cute. I blink and smile to look cite but I got frustrated because I am really not cute!

Another idea came to my mind. Aha! I would ask his favorite song and sing it for him, maybe he would calmed down when he heard my voice. But wait! I remember I couldn't sing, because everytime I sing, heavy rain would pour and I didn't even carry an umbrella. Argh!

I messed up my hair. I don't know what to do! I haven't even started yet, am I going to get fired right away? I'm crying!

"He's waiting!" said Evelyn then pushed me for a walk.

God! Is no one coming to help me explain to our Boss? I stared at them one by one, but they just kept looking at me. I am over. Looks like they really don't intend to accompany me. I'm nervous again.

Argh! If I could see that annoying guy from the coffeeshop again, I would hang him on a tree with many beehive! I took a deep breath to calm myself, but it no use. Maybe in any minute I was going to lose my life.

This is the very first time in my life, I called to go to the office. When i was a student, I was never called to the Principal's office. I hope our Boss will hear my explanation.

And as I was walking into the President's office, a familiar person caught my eye, walking down the hallway, grinning and I could see him clearly.

"That's him! The Coffee thief!" I said to myself.

Then I quickly approached him. Then I hit him hard on the head with the paper I picked up somewhere.

"You are also working here?! Do you know that because of you, my Boss is calling me today to explain why I am not at my table? Argh! Join me and you will explain everything to him. " I said furiously.

I heard a loud gasp, everyone saw what I had done to this mole, who also looked surprised. I pulled out his tie and take him to the Office of the President! He really is the culprit of all this!
