Far More Doable

Vincent frowned as a thought occurred to him. "You said you looked into this when the paparazzi photos disappeared. That was a year ago. Why didn't you ever say anything?"

Maya looked at him with a great sense of irony. "This coming from the guy that didn't bother to tell me he was trying to take over the world like some cartoon supervillain? I didn't see the point. What was done was done.

"I already knew you were an angry person, Vincent. Doing that made a strange sort of sense. It did make me wonder what else you were capable of but, like always, you don't tell me things until you're cornered. 

"I have to say, your ambitions were much grander than I would have guessed. How long have you been planning this, anyway? It had to have been before we met at the very least but, if I had to guess, it's probably been longer."
