2.Operation Theater

It was a beautiful friday morning, I woke up early. Read some of my medical books , took a shower just kidding who does that. I just wished about it. I woke up I was already late for the hospital. I took a quick shower. Took my bread in my mouth and ran to work .

I reached just in time ,changed into my hospital apron and went to check on patients, who just had surgery. Some families were super grateful about it . I was glad I was able to help them .

And then I went to my cabin and was just checking on some reports, when I got a call . there was a patient, who just got hit by a car ,and condition is quite critical. So I was changing into my operation apron when I got a call from a unknown number.

I rejected the call , as there was no other doctor available at that time and I had to hurry , but my phone rang again while I was going to the operation theater. I picked up to inform I was busy but , someone told me my brother got into a accident and died on the spot .

I froze ,it felt like my world collapsed.

My little brother Ethan was only in highschool. My brother was my whole world. I wished it was a bad dream .But it was reality and I was going to the operation theater, there was no turning back . I knew I couldn't do it was hard to move I just wanted to disappear at that moment.

I tried my best but I couldn't in the middle of the operation I couldn't do it anymore, my baby brother died , I wanted to die as well how do I live alone. Who was going to tell me I look ugly in everything , who was going to watch movies with me , who was going to ask money from me , whom am I gonna tell all my secrets .

The grief won I blacked out in the middle of the surgery , the grief killed me from inside.

On the other hand Anthony was in a meting. when his assistant bust in and told him that " Anthony your sister has been in a car accident she is undergoing a surgery quick , we have to leave " .

Anthony rushed to the hospital with tears in his eyes he was devastated. His face was red ,his hands trembling. He tried to enter the operating room when the hospital staff stopped him . He was told to wait .

He was sitting in the steel chairs which were feeling cold. He was feeling helpless when he ,for the first time in his life kneeled down and prayed to god. He begged god for his sisters life . He was sweating as his head rested on his hands as if to hid the tears . Simon was there the whole time but he knew nothing was going to comfort him . so he just stayed silent.

The OT lights turned green when the docters and nurses came out with a completely blank yet fearful look . Anthony grabbed a doctor by his collar and shouted " How is my sister ? If something happens to her you are all dead."

The doctor shuttered and said " sir the main surgeon blacked out we tried our best, but she couldn't make it .

It was like a dagger in his chest. He fell to the ground started crying like a baby .He cursed god for taking his parents, and then his sister. He wanted to kill every one there but his hands were shaking. He couldn't stand straight.

Simon put his hands on his shoulder. His eyes full with tears .
