17 CHAPTER 17

Not only the hermit was surprised, but also Lia. How could Prince Beldric call Lia's mother when he shouldn't know about her?

As she recalled, she had not told anyone outside of the Unirex people that she was Lia, the wife of Prince Aerus and mother of Prince Beldric. What people know was that she was a queen who appeared because of the kindness of the universe on Centraxus so that the planet was not destroyed by not having a successor to continue to support the land.

"Mother!" Prince Beldric shouted again. His hair was neatly trimmed, black and white at the same time was very brightly lit. It's hard to explain because those moments were always changing, depending on which energy was dominating his body.

He immediately hugged Lia's body, which was still frozen as if she was dreaming. "Finally you come. I'm glad you come, Mother. I've been waiting for you for a long time. Why don't you ever see me?"

Surprised, Lia didn't answer the questions from her son in a row. Finally, a gentle poke from Prince Beldric managed to break her daydream.

Her body slumped to bow, followed by her maids who were behind. "Why do you call me mother, Prince?" As she asked, the hermit who had escorted her backed away to give them a place.

He immediately sank behind the sturdy pillars of the temple.

"Because you are my mother, Nianri Xilia, who I have been waiting for so long to visit me," Prince Beldric answered innocently.

"But…" It's hard to lie to a child, especially since he's your son. "But I am Queen Ethelia, queen of Centraxus. I am not Lia, Prince."

"You are Nianri Xilia, who had to be reborn because all the souls of the ancestors in the entire universe asked you to come back. You were reborn in the sacred crater of Centraxus, and must be looked after by Grandpa Megalack."

"Grandpa Megalack?" Lia frowned, suddenly widening. "Don't tell me you..."

Prince Beldric nodded as if he knew what his mother wanted to say. "Yes, Grandpa Megalack said all that to me, Mother. Now I'm here. If you want to meet Father, then I can take you to Hexodar. As long as you are by my side, then I will remain safe because our energy is the same. Mother's energy that will protect me from the clash of energies in Hexodar."

Lia was speechless. Though from the surveillance screen Prince Beldric looked innocent and quiet. She thought he had traits like her. But it turned out that he had more in common with Prince Aerus. "How did you know I was going to meet your father? I come here to visit you."

"Yes, Mother did come to visit me. But after that Mother wants to see father," said Prince Beldric. "Come on, Mother! I'll take you to Hexodar. Just seduce Father and immediately give me a cute little sister and brother."

"Cough! Cough!" Everyone in the place choked on their saliva. Prince Beldric, who was still a child, was already able to shake the mentality of adults.

"Alright," nodded Lia.

"Mother will give me cute siblings?" he asked hopefully. But when he saw his mother shake her head firmly, he looked disappointed.

"I'm going to see your father, and you can come with me. But before that, we have to harmonize the energy because your energy is starting to mix with this place."

Prince Beldric nodded. Then he closed his eyes as his mother grabbed one of his hands and touched the area between his eyebrows. The air seemed to clump together, swirling from all directions. A very strong pull, sticking in one direction.

The light was so bright, that it even surpassed the dazzling peak of the temple. As the light spread, Prince Beldric felt his whole body get a new flow of energy, which he recognized and which he longed for as well as the release of the foreign energies that sometimes filled his body.

He soon opened his eyes to find his mother smiling at him. "Shall we go now?" And his feet jumped as his mother nodded.

They immediately went to the Centra Unit, which was still pointy and flat. Along the way, Prince Beldric continued to chatter about his life in the temple, how lonely he was, and how clear his mind was on many occasions. He also had time to protest about the behavior of Prince Aerus, which he always called selfish for not wanting to see him.

Even though it felt strange to see her child not growing up with her, she still gave the best advice. Moreover, her arrival was to unite family relations that had been cracked.

"Your father loves you, Beldric. It's just that he is helpless because your energies are out of tune. If he insists on seeing you, then it will hurt you, because your body is still weak."

The Centra Unit finally landed in the outer court of the Hexodar Kingdom. After showing the stamped permit, they finally entered the gate.

Without realizing it, Lia became very nervous. Her forehead was sweating, her body felt heavy.

Megalack sounded grumbling, "Don't be so nervous! You made the container I was in narrowed. I don't want to leave your body until you're really strong. The energy around you is too dangerous if you get out of control."

Hearing that, Lia took a breath. No matter how hard she tried she still had a hard time doing it. Especially when she saw Prince Aerus in the distance, who didn't seem to want to look at her.

She lowered her head, feeling weak.

The king and queen approached, welcoming them very cordially. Meanwhile, Prince Aerus looked very curt.

"Why did you come here without permission? Are you guys trying to put us down?"

"Aerus, what's wrong with you?" asked King Artesun rather awkwardly. "She brought Beldric here. You should be grateful."

"She is an uninvited guest, Father!" Prince Aerus argued.

"But I brought a permit," Lia interrupted impatiently. From her hand emerged a holographic image showing a letter that had been stamped.

Despite the shock, Prince Aerus moved a finger to enlarge the permit. And how surprised he was when he saw that the stamp was from Prince Phoko. 'I should have known from the start. Because he knows there will be guests today,' he cursed in his heart.

"How? Do you still want to kick me out?" asked Lia.

Prince Aerus cleared his throat, and then nodded in a direction, "Follow me!"

And Lia followed him. Before that, she formed a barrier to maintain the purity of the energy in Prince Beldric's body. The shield would only last up to two hours. After that, she had to create a new one.

Prince Aerus led her to a hall, which she remembered was the reception hall.

Her memory drifted far away, remembering all the memories that lingered in that place. She remembered how gentle Prince Aerus had led her when she was pregnant, and she remembered how firm he had been when begging King Artesun to let him go to Centraxus for help.

All those memories and struggles were too painful but too sweet to remember. So that she unconsciously shed tears.

"I hope you didn't come here for fun," said Prince Aerus, breaking Lia's thoughts, and ignoring her cries. "What is your purpose?"

After wiping the tears with a camouflage motion, Lia lifted her chin, looking at him seriously. Her body drew closer, creating a distance of no more than a meter from him. "My purpose is still the same. My request is still the same," she said, strong and firm. "Marry me!"
