7 Chapter 7: New Found Friendships

It had been over a week since Angie began school at Vernon Middle School. Nothing had change since the las week besides finally knowing where her classrooms are.In her first period all they do is the simple computer assignments Mrs. Bell would assign to them. Then in her second and third period Sergio would try to talk to Angie but, Angie has been busy trying to ignore him ever since his attempt to try to get at her.Yari has been trying to make sure that Angie doesn't get stuck with Sergio's stalker moment questions again.In fact Yari and Angie has been spending a lot of time during there 2nd and 3rd with each other which usually includes them working together in class since Mr. Ramirez loves to do group assignments and projects.

Actually for today class, Mr. Ramirez had told the class to work in a pair of two and try to compare notes and help each other on the chapters that were taught for the 2 weeks since there was going to be a test . Since Angie didn't know anyone but Yari in class she decided to work with her and Yari was glad that she is working with Angie.As they were looking at eachother notes Angie had actually explained the past 3 chapters that were taught to Yari in a total of 20 minutes and Yari had actually understood more of what Angie explained compared to how Mr. Ramirez had taught them.As the two girls were talking they didn't really bother with there surrounding but just a couple seats away there Xander and his friends sat but they really weren't studying they were just joking around til it was time for 3rd period. Once the bell rang for there 5 minute break before there next class Angie sat with Yari and explained to her that she can show her notes if she ever needs help in class.Yari was so glad that she met Angie.

Once the bell rang everyone rushed out of class, even Angie and Yari rushed to get to there pe lockers so that they can put all there things away. Fourth period went on like nothing since all they did was walk around the field again since there was a meeting going on for the teachers.Once the bell rang for everyone to lunch, Angie was walking out the lockers when she bumps into Julia Garnett.Julia is actually in Angie history class she is actually the girl that sits next to Alec. As Angie was walking Julia offers Angie to have lunch with her and her friends.

At the Table:

Everyone says there hellos' and Angie gets to know all the girls at the table. Three of them she already knew.One of them was of course Julia. The other two was Kia (also known as Takia but she prefers Kia) and Chantelle Austin.Chanetelle is also in Angie history class.Besides the three Angie already knew she met Mya Garnett (Julia younger sister), Cindy Sorean,and Sammy Castillo.All the girls ate lunch and talked til the bell rang for them to go to there class.
