14. First Day

Leona raised her head to check out the skyscraper in front of her ' Wow, it screams money and reputation.'

She heard her phone rang and she pulled it out her handbag to answer the call as she strode towards XWT's entrance.

Wearing an elegant cream colored, long sleeve chiffon blouse and black pencil skirt that hugs her curves perfectly with a matching nude color stiletto that complements her legs, Leona has transformed into a head turner. Especially with how regal she walks, no one would have thought that she could wield a gun. She looks like a boss on a company visit for some business negotiation instead of a regular secretary.

Leona ignored the inquiring looks around her and focused on answering her ringing phone.

"We are all observing you right now to kickstart the mission, and the superiors have good responses. With how your gaining lot of attention from the employees on the first day, it wouldn't be suspicious if you suddenly develops a romantic relationship with their boss."

"Hmmn." Is all she replied as she scanned her surrounding, she might be asocial but with all the trainings and missions she has gone through, she doesn't shy away from people.

She's on a mission mode so she's friendlier now, giving them a curt smile that has garnered both envy and blush from her colleagues of different gender and ages.

"Good job in achieving good impression on your first day." there was a short silence before Klaus spoke again "Leona you're on your own now but we're always one call away okay?"

"Hmmn, thank you brothers." she answered, knowing full well that the others are eavesdropping.

Xavier is also leisurely watching Leona on his laptop screen and for some reason he can't help his heart from beating erratically at the sight of her, this woman is really fatally charming. He doesn't know if he should be happy or mad that she also has this effect on other guys and not just him.

He would really like to believe that he is a normal guy and this is supposed to be a normal reaction but who is he kidding? He's been trying to deny this for the nth time but he never had this kind of reaction with any other girls no matter what kind of internalization he makes, that fact will not change.

30 minutes after, he heard a knock on the door while he's burried on some paperworks.

"Come in" he answered without lifting his head.

"Boss, I'm here to introduce the newly hired secretaries." And that was all it needed to catch his attention.

"Goodmorning CEO King, thank you for giving me this opportunity, this has been a dream and I won't let you down CEO, please take care of me" said a woman with a pretty face, long blond hair and a questionable taste in clothing.

Leona's eyes twitched as the woman bowed, feigning innocence by covering her chest with one hand when in fact her neckline is too low that her one hand can barely hide anything. She's not someone who judges people with what they wear but she strongly believes that there should be appropriate places and occasions for certain 'attires'.

'She even left out the most important part' The other secretary even forgot to introduce herself because she was too busy acting cute.

Xavier has the same thought, he can't help but lowkey compare the two women in front of him. One is almost showing all her skin and yet he felt nothing but repulse and on the other hand Leona is wearing an elegant but a bit conservative business attire yet she exudes charm and sex appeal.

"Good morning CEO King, my name is Arya Ling. I'm looking forward to learning a lot of things from you, I'll do my best." Leona introduced herself plain and simple with a slight bow.

It was a short introduction and yet that was the longest she had said to him without any sign of irritation ever since he found her. He can't help but scoffed.

"Yes, you'll definitely learn a lesson or two from me."

Leona bit her inner check when she heard that. 'What is he even trying to imply?'

"You can go now and sorry miss I didn't catch your name."

the blond girl blushed a bit "It's Theresa Choi CEO King"

"Miss Choi, this floor consists mostly of male employees it might be best for you if.. you wear more comfortable clothes." He's having a hard time finding the right word without sounding harsh, he could have tell her off if only Leona was not here but he doesn't want to scare off his prey just yet.

Instead of feeling embarrassed, Theresa blushed some more and looked as if she's feeling touched by what he said.

Sam who was observing the scenario before him can't help but raise a brow, feeling confused. It's either his boss told her to mind her clothes because he sees her as an eyesore or she's the reason of his smile a couple of days back and the is also the reason why he didn't say it the harsh way is because he's genuinely concern for her.

He sighed in frustration, their is no way in confirming it with his boss' all-time poker face.

"These will be your desks." Sam toured them around the CEO's floor and showed them their workstations afterwards.

Theresa overtook Leona and sat on the desk she's about to choose. She raised a brow to her, while crossing her arm squishing her fake boobs in the proccess.

'definitely silicon' she ignored the silly-con's challenging glare and sat on the empty desk instead and started unpacking her stuff.

'You can't have fake boobs with fake personality too, that's a terrible combo!' she already imagined Li Wei's scrunched face with what she thinks he would say looking at her dear childish colleague.

Her lips lifted a bit thinking of how stupid she sounded, 'Li Wei is such a bad influence.' She shaked her head in disapproval.

Li Wei: ????

She heard a phone buzz and was about to check hers when Theresa started yapping.

"Yes you can't believe how wonderful he is!" Theresa excitedly blurted.

"He was even concerned about me, he's too protective that he doesn't want me to wear revealing clothes, -no of course not! where did you hear that he's an aloof man? trust me he's the sweetest!" She gloated.

Leona rolled her eyes, God does she need to deal with little girls too?
