1 Prologue

The room is filled with silence.

I can only hear myself heavily breath. Those air came from my lungs are almost like dark smoke.

It suffocates me to the core.

I don't want to live, I'm so hurt, I'm so broken.

It's like half of you are being torn right now, like a piece of paper.

"As for the agreement, you can liquidate any assets Mr. Liam has. He also wants you to get the amount stated on this cheque."

Attorney Lira showed me the cheque, stating my name; my now single name, and the amount of $2, 000, 000.

As I hold the cheque, I want to scream, I want to cry so much.

Is this the amount of all our wasted time, effort, and love?

I smiled. What answer could I get?

"Please give this back to Mr. Liam." I give the cheque to her.

"And I only wish to get, is the flower shop. That's all."

The woman in front of me sighs heavily.

"As you wish, Erin. I'll make sure to tell that to him."

"Thank you."

I smiled, but I feel my mouth quiver. And a single tear escaped my already weary eyes.
