1 One

It's seven-thirty in the morning. The school has been quiet with some students and teachers coming. One of them is Shin Hayan, A 2nd-year senior in high school. He made it a habit to come to school thirty minutes early before their first class started so he could have time to review his lessons.

He approached his locker and opened it. A letter dropped. He picked it up and stared at it.

Again?

This is actually the third time he received a letter from someone. The letter only says one word though, 'I like you, Hayan, Take care always!' But with a different colored envelope each time. This time it was a colored rose, and it smelled good.

Hayan really doesn't have any idea of who could it might be. He's not popular, he doesn't think he looks good too. But, according to Sean, his best friend, (when he asked him what he looked like), he has fluffy hair that is always combed neatly, elf-like ears, a not-so-tall nose, semi-plump lips (he still doesn't know what he means by that) and expressive eyes, to put it more specifically, as he says it, "The eyes that don't lie." At least he has something that stands out. He guesses someone out there still prefers a decent, plain-looking man.

He is about to open the letter when the bell rings, signaling the start of the class. Hayan sighed. He just wasted his time thinking about this letter. He put it back in his locker and hurried to the classroom.

"Hayan!" A loud voice echoes the hallway. There's only one person he knows who owns that voice and that's his best friend for as long as he could remember, Sean. Sean is handsome that sometimes he got mistaken for a celebrity. One of his distinct features is his playful, smiling eyes and kid-like smile. He's also tall, much taller than Hayan. When they stand beside each other Hayan would only reach Sean's armpit. Due to that, he would always make fun of his height and sometimes uses that as an advantage to tease him.

They both enter the classroom and Sean proceeds to sit next to him.

"What's wrong?" Sean asked. He could really tell something is wrong even when he was not saying anything.

"Ah-"

"You received one again?" Hayan nods slowly. Sean is aware of his 'secret admirer'. And unlike Hayan, he's really curious about this person's identity. According to him, "it's not every day that you could receive a love letter!"

"So what does it say?"

"I... I haven't opened it but it's probably the same." Hayan speaks softly and rather quietly, one of his cute personalities, according to Sean.

Sean grinned, amused at his friend's reaction. "Your secret admirer's really persistent, huh?"

With that, Hayan's face turned red, like a tomato. He could easily blush at things like this. In fact, you could make him blush really easily.

"It's impossible... Maybe-maybe they got it all wrong."

Sean laughs and puts his hand on Hayan's shoulder. "What's impossible? You're cute!" He exclaimed and pinched his cheeks. Hayan slapped his hand.

"Stop it."

Girls in their class suddenly create a ruckus when Kim Hajin, their school's most handsome and popular guy enters their class. You could say that he got it all, Intelligence, Looks, and Wealth. The holy trinity of a person. On top of that, he's also nice to everyone, making him the center of attraction wherever he goes. Almost everyone has a crush on him.

And Hayan is one of them.

He remembers being starstruck when he saw him entering their classroom on the first day of class. It's like the world stopped for Hayan and it's only he and Hajin remained. Then when he smiled, he knew it was game over. He's fallen for this guy.

He tried to keep it a secret because he knows that not everyone will accept it. I mean, a guy liking another guy? Only Sean knows about it, being sneaky and observant that he is, he found out right away about his little crush on Hajin.

Hajin then greeted everyone, including him.

"Good morning!" Hajin greeted energetically with a huge smile on his face. To Hayan's eyes, his smile could replace the sun of how bright it is. Hayan greeted back, with his head low and face red.

"G-good morning..." It's so quiet, he's not sure if Hajin even heard him. But Hajin just smiled at him and went back to his seat.

"Happy?" Sean whispered in his ear startling him.

"Ha?"

"You were greeted by your crush." He grinned and wiggled his eyebrows. Hayan got startled and pushes Sean away. He laughs loudly at his reaction, attracting the attention of their classmate including Hajin, who smiled at him again when their eyes meet.

And, with his soft voice, he said, "You really need to watch your mouth, Sean. You're so noisy."

Sean only grinned at him in return.
