49 Chapter 45
"Are you serious? Was the Herrscher we were looking for a child?" Tesla asked for surprise, she didn't expect things to work out like that while she was still guiding the Titans units.
Currently Welt, Einstein and Tesla are in a private room in the ME Corp building ( Massive Electric company ) in the city Nagazora. Besides them there was one more person in that room.
That person was a 40-year-old man with long dark purple hair that was tied to a tail that went to the middle of his back. He had dark purple eyes, and he wore a business suit.

This man is Raiden Ryoma, he is the president of ME Corp, he is also one of Welt's few trusted men.
"It's exactly how you heard Tesla" Einstein spoke with his usual monotonous expression.
After Welt and Einstein left Ryusuke's house they went straight to the ME Corp building. When they got there they met Tesla and Ryoma who were already waiting for them. Tesla and Ryoma asked why they took so long and then Einstein started to explain everything that happened.
"But tell me, did this boy really heal his injuries?" Tesla asked. Just as Einstein took care of Welt since he accepted Welt Joyce's legacy, she took care of him since he was a child and she saw him grow up until he became an adult. She has accompanied him for the past 5 decades, and although she has affection for him as someone who has taken care of him since he was a child, she also has certain feelings that she kept in her heart without ever revealing to anyone. Although Einstein who has always been close to her has long since realized Tesla's feelings for Welt.

All MANTIS have the natural instinct to activate their Honkai beasts form from their genes and turn into complete Honkai beasts, they must constantly fight against that instinct or else they will turn into unreasonable monsters that destroy everything around them.
Because of this, MANTIS cannot sleep in peace and even if they sleep they will still have nightmares involving Honkai.
Griseo rarely sleeps and when she sleeps she dreams that she is a Honkai beast that kills people. She even forgot what it's like to have a good dream.
"Griseo."
At that moment someone called her name. She turned around and saw a familiar figure in the room.
"Did something happen? Melantha?" Griseo asked, she still had her usual calm expression ever.
"Griseo, Otto Apocalypse is already mobilizing to come to this city."
Who spoke was a girl who appears to be about 15 years old. She has long dark violet hair and light pink eyes. She has a medium and modest stature, but there are two things that stand out in her.
The first is that she has a pair of cat ears over her head. The other is that it has a cat's tail behind the waist.

Like Griseo, she is one of the surviving MANTIS of the Previous Age.

Ryusuke then took the unconscious Fu Hua and took her to the couch.
"Well, I'll leave the problems for tomorrow. Now I'm going to sleep." Ryusuke said while he is walking to his room. Without him noticing a small glow from Fenghuang Down Ryusuke's body entered. But he was too sleepy to notice.

( Author's note: hi guys how are you? As you can see I added an original character in this chapter, it was Melantha, I know that some of you have already realized that Melantha is an arknights character.
I decided to use add Melantha as a MANTIS from the Previous Era. After all, the tragedy of the connection did not happen in the previous era, which will allow me to add some original MANTIS to the story.
I intend to put some arknights characters in my fanfic but even if they look the same and name they will have a slightly different personality, I will also put a story of different origin for them.
I started playing arknights last week after I finished watching the anime, and I must say that I loved the game.
I decided to add Melantha because she was the 3 star that has helped me the most so far.
