Chapter 1

I panicked for a second, but I calmed down after realizing that my surroundings were kind of blurry and my body doesn't feel like it's actually in this place. It totally feels like a dream, literally.

"Maybe I'm lucid dreaming? If that's the case maybe I should enjoy the short amount of time I can be in here."

I decided to check my surroundings, I looked around for a little and noticed that I was in a garden filled with lilies, it seems that the garden was beside a gorgeous mansion.

I was wearing a maid's uniform, it was odd since I never really fantasized of becoming a maid in this type of setting but it's probably because of the choice of my subconscious mind.

The moon has risen so it appears to be night time which is why I can't really see well.

"Even if it was morning, I still wouldn't have seen anything clearly since my vision is blurry." I thought to myself.

I'm holding a lamp so I used i5tto see things a little bit better.

There's a cobblestone path leading to the forest near this garden, I find it extravagant for a path just to lead to that area.

"Maybe my mind thought of a reason to put such a path there?"

I decided to walk that path just to satisfy my curiosity, there is nothing to lose anyway since this is just a dream.

The leaves of the trees appear to be swaying, but all I hear is the sound of my fan doing it's work to keep me refreshed.

I walked, and walked until I eventually got to the end of the path. Apparently, there's another garden in this area, but this one had different kinds of colorful flowers growing in it and it looked way beautiful than the garden I was just at.

I went near those flowers to admire them for their beauty, I plucked a lavender and attempted to smell it but as expected, I wasn't able to smell anything.

"What a shame, I bet it would have smelled nice."

I turned my back around from the flowers.

"Kya!" I squealed out of shock.

There was a boy behind me, I can't see his face properly, but his height shows that he must be young. His facial expressions were a mystery to me but for a young boy to be here at night time is kind of odd.

"But then, odd things do happen in dreams. This lonely boy is just a figment of my imagination."

Those were my thoughts, so I decided to pick a random flower from behind and put one on his left ear.

With a smile I said, "You should head back home, it's already late." I then patted him on the head. He appeared to have replied to me but I couldn't hear anything nor was I able to read his lips. So I just continued to smile and attempted to walk away but then...

An arrow from somewhere was suddenly shot at his direction.

For some reason, I panicked.

This is just a dream but...

"I wonder why..."

My heart was thumping like crazy and it felt like everything has slowed down as I watched the arrow fly through towards us.

"This.. this is just a dream, right?! I'm lucid dreaming, rigbt?!" I shouted in my brain.

"If so... if so...!"

"Earth! Form a huge rock from the arrow's direction!" I unconsciously waved my hand as if I was doing magic, and the command in my mind was actually carried out by earth.

I was able to take a deep breath when the arrow was stopped, I looked at the boy's face and once again gave him a smile.

"You're not in danger anymore." I find it weird to say those words since I never expected to say those anywhere, even in a dream.

I then decided to truly walk away and go back to the place I originally was but then, I woke up.

I opened my eyes and I was back in reality.

"That was quite the dream."

I got back up and did my usual routine, after my day has ended, I hit the hay.

I never thought I would ever lucid dream again, but obviously, I was dead wrong.

"Seriously?" I said in disappointment.

I wasn't disappointed because I was lucid dreaming again, but it was because I was wearing stable boy's outfit that was covered in feces. I can't smell it or anything but it still looked disgusting as hell even though I can't see it properly either.

I went out of the stable I was in to look for a shower or a cleaner set of clothes, however, as I was exiting the stable I was in, I saw that boy from my previous dream again.

He was laying his back on the wall beside this stable's exit while crossing his hands.

I was quite surprised when he looked at me as soon as I stepped out. All I did was give him a smile, and attempted to walked away.

But then 4 weird guys who were dressed in black suddenly appeared in front of me and the boy like they were there the whole time.

"Do not freaking tell me that these guys are danger." Then, surprise, surprise.

They were actually danger. All four of these guys charged at the boy holding daggers, then time slowed down for me.

This allowed me to concentrate and attempt to manipulate my surroundings since this is just a dream anyway.

"Vines! Immobilise those four weird guys!" As expected, the vines heard my command and did what I said. My hands waved on their own after thinking of that command.

They were then messily tied by the vines, and these vines just tightened and tightened until the weird guys passed out.

I threw my eyes to his direction with a pretty smile and said, "Ha... Glad you're okay, boy." while I saying this, I sighed as well.

When I saw his posture after I managed to immobilise these guys, he no longer had the relaxed position he had a while ago. He was as stiff as a stone.

"Can't blame him."

After I thought of those, I woke up.

I thought that this was the last time I'd lucid dream since this was the second dream, but...

The dreams just continued on... and on... every night...

And in every single one of those dreams...

I always decided to save that boy.
