" please forgive my ignorance miss Odiham welcome again" the second head master was quick to react as he understood the change of atmosphere.

But then realising the situation my eyes were all widen I was surprised by his announcement that I was the new chairperson of the board of school shareholders and he had chosen me to make decisions on his behalf.

Just like that the head master lost his job and second master got promoted why? even I was surprised with the reason he gave out, he was bad influence and lacked discipline.

Well everyone believed that with invented comas, but dare not say anything, why he had us visit the school apparently he had transfer all his duty to me and I was suddenly the chairman of the board of school shareholders on his behalf.

I couldn't say anything and could only look at him was this man serious? I mean we hardly knew each other why would he entrust me with such responsibility.

While on the his side Robert thought inwardly 'that he would do everything to make her stay with him and not think of going anywhere be it affection or work he was going to do everything to win her'.

Still having a lot in her mind they finally got to leave the school and were heading back home but unlike what she was expecting they were not going back to the house she had been staying these few days instead they were going back to his house.

" Where are we going?" I couldn't help but ask after I noticed the direction was not to where I had been staying for the time being.

" Bronze Mansion" He said calmly as if he was talking something that was too obvious but apparently not to me what did he mean by that? but it looks like he was not planning to explain further so I had no choice but to stay quiet and follow the lead.

Then after a long drive we finally arrived at the most luxurious district in J state the member of the community were all high profile societies that even the Ford family could not afford to set foot there.

I heard a piece of land only here costs millions of dollars. Let alone owning a whole mansion in this district, though I knew Mr Giovinne was a very wealth man but never thought what that actually means, but there was something else about him, unlike other wealth people I knew who did have a whole parade of servants at their disposal Mr Giovinne actually lived alone.

This place looked almost all empty with only security people that were far away from the actual mansion.

Earlier I had asked him what was this place and he plainly said

" Our home" He said that so calmly and I almost choked, what home? what did he mean?.

But as usual he didn't elaborate further instead he took my hand and we went inside the mansion that was super neat despite the dull vibe it gave from outside, it seem there were servants who comes to clean it and leave as the man was not fond of having anyone living with him.

This made me wonder about the rumours circulating concerning Mr Giovinne they said that he doesn't like to interact with other people aside from his close kin and was very selective of them too, they say he was once poisoned when he was a little and had developed a condition that made him unable to trust others and had always been living alone.

Then if that was the case then why did he invite me to come here for? I wondered if he had something to show me otherwise it was clear there is no way he would allow me to stay in his place.

But alas not only did I stay but was also supposed to stay together with him as he suddenly brought forth the agreement that I had previously signed and it weirdly stated that I had to stay with him.

To what extent only he could decide but then when was this written I never saw this before was it a trick? but there was no way I could deny it when my sign was already there.

Sigh!.

The next day I woke up alone despite the threatening night of having to share the room with him.

It happened that there was an emergency at G group and he was needed urgently, with that he didn't even stay and went to the office that very night and didn't come back.

I was glad he was not there or else I wouldn't know how to deal with him I had a lot in mind that was still unsettled, clearly I was still not over my grievances so I couldn't bring myself to start another relationship even if a fake one.

Hopefully Mr Giovinne would be professional enough not to mix things up,

while I was lost in thought I got a phone call and without thinking much I picked up the phone call.

" Delphina come and meet me at six o'clock in the evening I will be waiting for you at your favourite cafe" the voice said and I was taken aback, who? wait was that Daclin?.

But before I answered him he cut off the phone to my surprise, what did he think of himself ordering me around?, I thought with a frown on my face, the guts of that man to even think he could just order me as he pleases.

It appears that he was so certain that I would go whenever and wherever he calls me to and that was so like me a few days ago but now why should I?.

After his call I took a note to block him and everyone associating with that family before finding a place to relax.

After a hectic week I was finally resting and I couldn't be more thankful than this, the mansion was very calm and quiet and that is exactly what I needed right now, though I didn't want to do anything at the moment I knew there were a lot of things to do.

When it was noon I got a message from the big boss and surprisingly he was only asking if I had eaten, time passed by but I had no appetite and I had no idea how it was noon and I hadn't eaten anything.

As if he had been spying on me he knew I had not eaten so he had ordered his people for me " I will not be coming home for few days so I have sent Agatha and her people to take care of the chores for you, make sure you take care of yourself well okay" He said and again I was taken aback with his warm gestures.

" Okay" I said but then thought why did he care about me? inwardly I asked myself as this was all new to me yet again.
