"It's…broken?" Compass Carburettor was shocked. After all, this was the strongest material that he was able to create using his abilities. But, the thing that shocked him the greatest, even more than it being severed into three pieces, was the fact that this happened without his knowledge.

He was unable to understand just how it had shattered. He was in the midst of killing Dullin when he inserted it into his throat. And when Dullin had spat it out, it was still in one piece.

Even when they were trading blows, Compass Carburettor noticed that there wasn't even a scratch on his energy blade sword. So, he was simply unable to understand just how this was possible.
