Chapter 6

I started today pretty normally by waking up getting dressed and eating the food the teenage girl brought and now I am just sitting here with the teddy bear someone gave me sitting next to me.

'Uhh, I am bored out of my mind. I wish I had a phone or a book.'<Lucy>

I look over at the door.

'I could ask someone for a book, but the only one who has been nice to me was Emily but she is so young that the books I could borrow from her won't give me any entertainment at all. Maybe I could ask the teenage girl, she hasn't exactly been rude to me.'<Lucy>

I hop off the bed and walk towards the door and peek my head outside.

'But where is her room? I don't want to run into anyone else while walking out here.'<Lucy>

I start to walk out of my room and go up to the other bedroom doors.

'Oh they have names on the doors, that's helpful.'<Lucy>

I walk up to one of the doors and it has the names Liam and Owen on it.

'I think those belong to those two boys.'<Lucy>

I walk past their door and come up to the next one and it says Jen on it.

'I think this is it.'<Lucy>

I go closer to the door.

'Should I knock? I guess it polite too.'<Lucy>

I knock on the door quitly and I hear footsteps coming to answer the door.

'I wonder who is knocking on my door.'<jen>

Once she opens the door she looks around and then looks down at me and gets a confused look on her face.

'It's her.'<jen>

"U-Um H-hello can I borrow a b-book."<Lucy>

'I hate talking to people. I was pretty introverted and shy before but it's gotten worse since I transformed.'<Lucy>

"A book?"<Jen>

"Y-yea."<Lucy>

Jen looks back into her room at her small bookshelf.

'Can she even read? And my books are not meant for such young kids and she looks younger than Emily.'<Jen>

She looks back at me.

'I guess I will just give her one.'<Jen>

She walks back into her room and goes to her books and scans them over and eventually grabs one.

'I hope she is able to read it.'<Jen>

she comes back to men and holds out the book to me.

"T-Thank you."<Lucy>

I grab the book and rush back to my room and climb back onto the bed.

'Now let's see what book she gave me.'<Lucy>

I look at the cover of the book.

'Oh, it's Harry Potter. I've already read it but it's better than nothing'<Lucy>

I open up the book and start to read and spent around an hour and a half reading it until I had to go to the bathroom.

'It's still weird going to the bathroom as a girl, especially with this annoying tail.'<Lucy>

After going to the bathroom I walk up to the bathroom door and open it and go back to my bed to continue reading again and eventually Jen brings me dinner again.

'It's already dinner.'<Lucy>

I go up to her and grab the plate of food and go back to my bed and start to eat and once I finished I walk out of my room to take it to Jen because I know she does the dishes after dinner. But once I got out I noticed they were still at the table eating dinner and they were talking.

"So how many more days is it going to be staying here."<Liam>

"I don't really know, I was told that it would be sent somewhere else eventually."<Josh>

"I want to see it again before it leaves. The last time I saw it ran away."<Liam>

"That's because you instantly grabbed its ears."<Owen>

I walk back to my room with the plate still in hand and my ears lying against my head.

'can they call me by my name and not "it" even though Lucy isn't my actual name it's still better than getting referred to as some creature.'<Lucy>

Once I get back to my room I put the plate on the ground and lay on my bed.
