8 Sorry, who are you?

It's been a few weeks since I woke up in the body of Luffy, the main character in the world of One Piece, and right now I'm sitting by the window reading a book and enjoying the sea breeze that blows towards me from the ocean.

As you can see, my wounds have completely healed, but I'm still acting as though I'm sick because I don't want Garp to ask me to train with him again just yet.

Can you even fathom it, Garp, who previously expressed regret and sadness for putting Luffy's life in danger, now acts as if it doesn't bother him at all, and he wants to start training with me as soon as possible!

"Fortunately, Makino was always there to prevent that because if she didn't, I'm sure this body just be dying again a second time."

"Come in, Makino."

Soon Makino came in, but this morning she had nothing in her hands, and a big smile spread across her face when she saw me.

"How did you know it was me, Luffy?"

I couldn't help but chuckle and then respond by saying, "who else really cares and takes care of me all the time if not you?"

"I'm pleased to hear it."

After that, Makino approached me and peered into the book I was currently reading while making the following remark: "Are you reading books about history again, Luffy?"

"yeah, I have to read a lot of things so that my memory can come back one day."

The moment Makino heard my response, she couldn't help but sigh, but after that, she started patting my shoulder and saying, "Are you ready? You can finally leave this room after being here for so long."

After I had finished reading my book, Makino and I got up to leave the room, and even though I was feeling a little anxious, I tried to reassure myself that everything would be all right.

When I walked on the deck of this ship, the hot sun shone directly on my body, and several Marines who were on guard and cleaning looked at me with strange looks, but they did not say anything.

Even though at first, I felt a bit strange and was not used to being in this little child's body, as time passed, I started to adapt to it and eventually stopped caring about it very much.

When Makino and I walked out of the small port, we began to enter the Foosha village. Along the way, there were several villagers who greeted me warmly and welcomed me.

Most of them also said the same thing, which was to congratulate me on my recovery and other similar things, until finally, we both arrived at a building with a sign that said Party's Bar on it.

"You can stay in this place for a while," said Makino while starting to introduce this bar as if she wanted to make me remember something.

Although I am quite familiar with this bar from the One Piece series since it holds a significant amount of history for many important characters, I will continue to act as though this is the first time I have ever visited this place.

When Makino saw me, she could only let out a disappointed sigh, but she quickly regained her smile and began to lead me to the second floor, where there was a small room with a bed and simple furniture.

"I usually use this room when I work late, so I often clean it, what do you think?"

"I don't mind it, but does grandpa approve of me staying here?"

"Don't worry. As long as you haven't fully recovered, I won't let your grandpa force you to do anything."

'As expected, what a reliable woman,' I thought with a smile that began to be attached to my face.

After that, the two of us started eating together, and because I could move freely, I decided to go around this Foosha village. However, I knew that Makino would not let me, so I left in secret.

I set out on my own to make my way to the center of the village, where a large group of villagers had gathered in front of a notice board, and as I got closer, an old man who was using a cane greeted me and invited me to join them.

"Oh, Luffy, what are you doing here?" asked the old man, who, if I'm not mistaken, is the head of this Foosha village.

"Sorry, who are you?"

When the village chief saw my bewildered expression, he was a little surprised at first, but then it was as if he realized something, and he could only shake his head.

"Looks like the news about you losing your memory is true."

"Then let me introduce myself. I am the head of this Foosha village, and in a way, I am also an old friend of your grandfather."

I was really surprised to find out that this village head was an old friend of Garp's, but after that, I just nodded my head and asked:

"Why is everyone crowding the notice board?"

"ohh, they're looking at today's news, and judging by their faces, it looks like there's been a pirate notice."

"Pirate?"

"yes, those damn pirates, and there will normally be news about their bounty or the large mess they've caused."

After I heard that, I was startled for a second because I momentarily forgot about the existence of pirates in this world, plus, if I'm not mistaken, that red-haired pirate would be coming to this village soon.

And, of course, I've already thought about what I'm going to do when that red-haired pirate shows up because I know that this will significantly affect where my life goes from here on out in this world.

"Aren't they pretty cool, chief?"

"What are you trying to say, Luffy? Did a blow to the head not only cause you to forget things but also make you even more stupid? Pirates are nothing more than damn criminals who do bad things to this world."
