1 Prologue

Earth was a small planet in the milky way galaxy where humans were the apex predators and with the highest intellect.

Human technology was progressing very fast and around the 30th century, they were ready for interstellar drives. Scientists were sending astronauts to various planets till one day they were able to search the whole milky way galaxy. They didn't find a single organism in the whole galaxy and it started to feel like their planet was the only one where life existed which was a very unbelievable thought.

There were also many rumors like life existed but ceased to exist billions of years ago. But it was not true as there was no proof on any planet that there was once life there. Some planets were even better than our very Earth and humanity started making colonies all over the galaxy.

But in the early 40th century, Something very unbelievable happened that blew everyone's mind. The nearest galaxy that humanity was observing and thinking of one day entering got disappeared in a matter of seconds leaving nothing but dark space without any stars.

This was a very peculiar happening that wasn't reported to the general public and researched about secretly. No one could find anything and from that time around 50 years had passed and the research got closed because there was nothing they could find about it.

Another thing that happened after the disappearance was that there was a kind of evolution in humans that led them to live up to 500 years. It was bound to happen one day as humanity has been existing for millions of years.

This led to the speculation that the human population will boom, so the government started colonizing other planets hastily.

Everything was going well till the thing that happened to that galaxy happened to theirs too.

January 4050, Monday

"Wake up Kyle, We'll get late for the class again" a kid no older than 16 said to his friend sleeping sound fully.

"Umm....Mommy....let me sleep for 2 more minutes" Kyle said while cuddling a pillow with a satisfied look.

Kyle Johnson was a 16 years old average looking boy with black eyes. He was around 5.8ft tall with black hair which was all messed up due to sleeping.

"I'm not your mother.!! Wake the fuck up!" Mathew said while getting furious and tugging him down the bed.

He was Mathew Bennet. He was an orphan whose parents died in a car accident. They died when he was only 10 which made him more mature than others of his age. He lived beside Kyle since they were a child and Kyle's family supported him since his parents died.

Mathew was a boy with a well defined jawline, his shoulders were broad and a charming face with somewhat red hair. He was a serious type of guy who tried everything to do things perfectly. Except for when he was with Kyle, Kyle was like a brother to him with whom he had lived 6 years after his parents died. While they were of the same age, Kyle was always a mischievous and lazy guy which made Mathew take care of him.

Kyle's parents were Synthia Johnson and Adrian Johnson with his cute little sister Tamara Johnson. They were a small little average earning happy family. His father was an architect while his mother was an accountant. His sister was a 14 years old high school student.

Kyle and Mathew left for college which was about 3 hours from their home. They went to an university and lived in the campus to avoid traveling back and forth.

"Ow...Mat..!, Why the fuck are you so rough.....Ugh!!" Kyle grunted and got up from the floor. He was a very lazy person due to which they always went late to their class.

"Get ready fast or we will definitely not be able to enter Professor Leroy's class, he is such a grumpy old man" Mathew said disdainfully before leaving the room while saying " I'll only wait 2 minutes and leave"

"Oh shit!!...Ok!!" Kyle started getting ready hastily. He got ready and left the room. There he saw Mathew talking with a short pony tailed girl.

"Oh...look who we have here" Maria said to Kyle with a teasing tone.

She was Maria Bourne, a beautiful 16 year girl who made every man near her be in daze. She was Mathew's girlfriend. She was a girl with pearl white skin and a curvy body.

"Haha, shorty it seems you are up early" Kyle grinned while talking with Maria.

"I am always early and stop calling me short! your height too is small when it comes to boys ..heh" Maria said smugly.

While Kyle and Maria were bantering, Mathew was looking at them with veins popping on his face

"Will you two quit it, what was the use of waking him early when we are gonna waste it here" Maxwell started bantering at those two which woke them out of their daze.

They started walking in the hallway, their class was a little far from the dormitory. While they were there every eyes was on them as Maxwell was rather popular cause of his looks and athletic body while Maria was the top ranked beauty in the whole college which stood out a lot. Kyle was not that popular as he didn't initiate to talk with anyone other than those two. Everyone thought that he was full of attitude which was not the case as he was the lazy type who didn't like putting initiative in anything.

While they were about 50 steps away from the class, out of the blue the ground started to quake heavily.

Everyone panicked and started shouting, most people thought they were gonna die as they were in a narrow hallway and there was no cover to take.

While everyone were panicking, Kyle was thinking calmly. He immediately hold Maxwell and Maria's hand and started walking carefully towards the emergency exit. It can be said that although Kyle was the lazy type, he was quick witted and intelligent when it comes to emergency situation.

But what happened next was out of everyone's expectations.....
