7 Spending Lunch Time Together

The homeroom started.

I and Sei-chan sit closely. Because of that, I know, when a piece of cloth, groups of leaves, and sometimes even a kitten tries to fly towards the Sei-chan face from the window.

Because of that, I or Hiroto have to constantly be on guard looking at the window and not only let those things inside but also protect Sei-chan!

Well, because of that Hiroto's most of the class times finish before he even notices. He doesn't even pay attention to the class but is still ranked in the middle of the test.

The class starts like normal and as I look out from the window, I saw a cute nice handkerchief straightly coming at me, no not for me but for Sei-chan.

I immediately catch the handkerchief and threw it on the ground.

And I took a glance at Sei-chan.

Ah! She was also looking at me.

Our eyes met a little and she immediately turned her face away and played innocence. But that was cute.

Also, she doesn't know that she is being protected. Anyway, let's not tell her. She will just get worried and... guilty.

Well, I continue to glance at her, when something comes straight at her. So, it makes me easier to look at her, and even protect her. Two kills with one stone!

That's called overkill!

Anyway, I wanted to chat with her, and it was going to be time for the lunch break. I mean, I don't even know how much time has been spent, and Haruto is behind, at the corner who is attentively focused on listening to the teacher, who is genuinely teaching us about the law of magic and the concept of magic!

I feel like this is like a science lecture in my world, just expect reality, fantasy is added.

I threw the paper at the desk, which she pick and read.

Her cheeks curl upward, and she tears a paper out of her copy.

(It seems even in the magical world, a copy exists!)

Her reply made me smile. I am totally excited about the lunch. I feel like the distance between is decreasing.

At the lunch break-

I survived the lunch break, and I took out my lunch box... I cooked it morning. I looked at Sei-chan, she also took out her lunch box and left the... classroom.

I quickly followed her.

"Hey, wait!"

I called out to her as she turns her head at me.

"Oh..."

She just looked at me and continued walking. Her cheeks are red and she seemed to be embarrassed.

I stare at her face, until... one book out of nowhere, came straight to her face. Before she notice, I grabbed the book and threw it out.

The students looked at me but I ignore them as my mission is to protect Sei-chan!

(3rd POV)

Hiroto sharply examines his surrounding.

All the students on the hallways look at him. Their eyes were pretty wide as they thought, 'why Hiroto and Shizuru are together?!'

That was their secondary question and their primary question was, 'What the hell is Hiroto doing?!'

Hiroto was catching the stuff that was coming at Sei-chan.

Bucket of water, blocked by a barrier and removed before she even notice.

A student who's going bump at her got pushed aside.

A big cat that was going to land on her head, had to land on the head of another student because Hiroto lightly punched it.

Groups of papers coming at Shizuru got scattered elsewhere.

The scene was like a bodyguard protecting his master.

And Shizuru, she was totally ignorant, she seemed to walk straightly with her hand covering her face, or she glancing at Hiroto.

But Hiroto also makes it the way, so Shizuru doesn't notice a thing.

For other students, it was like they were acting, or doing a play.

No students could believe as they all gaze at Hiroto.

And finally, they climbed the stairs and made it to the top floor. But while climbing, Shizuru's feet slipped and she fall.

"Ah!"

Hiroto grabbed her.

Shizuru's eyes fall on Hiroto's eyes. Her mouth opened up and steam seemed to have come out from her head.

"W-W-W... Sorry!"

She apologize, as Hiroto's face turned red.

"It's... ok..."

He softly said that, which seemed to have made Shizuru calm.

'Sei-chan... is on my arms, she is soo soft!'

Hiroto's brain rush at full speed.

"Hehe..."

Shizuru chuckled. She finds Hiroto's act funny.

"You, haha... you are embarrassed by this, haha..."

She laughed softly, which added charm to her cuteness.

Hiroto turned his face away, he couldn't handle the cuteness.

Shizuru balanced herself and left the arms of Hiroto. Hiroto felt little loneliness but he still felt her warmth.

"You say pretty bold things, but I am surprised, you were surprised just because we were a little close."

She smiled brightly while saying that.

"I-I was never that close to any girl, so, I couldn't handle it. And, you were just so... cute."

Hearing 'cure' made Shizuru a little red, but looking at Hiroto's expression made her at ease. And so on, they reached the rooftop.
