ohh, try saying that one more time!

- Lily Pov -

'what exactly happened with Fubuki-sama and Kaiser?' I let out a shout inside of me.

Because earlier, I heard that there was a commotion coming from Fubuki-sama's place, so I became a little worried, especially when I knew that Fubuki-sama would definitely do something to Kaiser.

Even though Kaiser has more strength and stamina than regular humans, I believe he has no chance of defeating Fubuki-sama, who is a B-Class Rank 1 professional hero. Because of this, I'm very concerned that Fubuki-sama will hurt Kaiser.

"What the hell!" I murmured as I looked off in the distance at Kaiser, who appeared to be hugging Fubuki-sama. However, as I got closer, I saw that Kaiser was actually just holding Fubuki-sama's hands, and as soon as I realized that, I was able to let out a sigh of relief, and the strange pain that had been in my heart began to lessen a little bit.

When the other Blizzard group members and I approached and asked what was going on, Fubuki-sama responded that everything was fine and that she was just putting Kaiser through some tests.

But I, who was still a little doubtful, could feel that Fubuki-sama looked like she was covering up something, and when she immediately ordered everyone to leave, her strange behavior made her even more suspicious.

I'm still concerned that Fubuki-sama will cause Kaiser harm, and as a result, I'm a little hesitant to leave the two of them alone again.

"Aren't you going, Lily?" Finally, Fubuki-sama, who was obviously in a stormy mood, told me to leave, but when I didn't know how to respond, Kaiser saved me by saying, "how about we take a little break and have a drink? What do you think, Fubuki?"

"okay."

I was a little surprised when I saw Kaiser, who had become friendly with Fubuki-sama in such a short amount of time, but I was even more surprised at the response Fubuki-sama gave.

I have no idea what happened, but in the end, the three of us went to buy drinks while taking a break, and because we were at a park, the only places that sold drinks were vending machines.

"Fubuki-sama is obviously acting very strange right now. what exactly happened before?" I was walking in the very back of the group, so I had a good view of Fubuki-sama, who would occasionally glance over at Kaiser. In the meantime, Kaiser was walking at the front, oblivious to what was happening.

This strange atmosphere continued for a while until, finally, the three of us arrived at a vending machine located under a large tree by the side of the path.

It seemed like what I said earlier still made Fubuki angry because I could feel her cold gaze which was occasionally directed at me, but I didn't mind it. Instead, I was getting excited now.

"What do you two want to drink?" I asked when the three of us had arrived in front of the vending machine.

"I can do it myself!" Fubuki just let out a snort and began to walk past me. As she did so, she casually began selecting the drink she liked from the vending machine.

In the meantime, Lily could only give me a wry smile and look at me as if she wanted to apologize, but I just smiled back at her and asked, "what would you like to drink, Lily?"

Lily said in a sweet small voice, "Ah, I'd like some strawberry juice," as she seemed to be careful when choosing her words in front of Fubuki, who was still looking irritated.

But I have to admit that the figure of Fubuki, who is currently sitting elegantly on a bench while drinking a can of coffee that she is holding in her hand, does look enchanting. Even her cold expression right now seems to fit her perfectly.

After I had selected a drink for Lily as well as one for myself, the two of us sat down on a bench to take a break. Lily was too timid to sit next to Fubuki, so she shyly took space next to me.

Because I'm sure Fubuki won't want me to talk to her now, so to overcome this boredom, I started a conversation with Lily, during which we discussed a lot of topics.

Even though I know more or less what the Blizzard group is doing in this place. But from Lily's mouth, I can find out many more detailed things about their group's activities in this city C.

"As you have seen before, the Blizzard group is planning to help the troubled people in City C as well as to raise our name."

When Lily was in the middle of explaining something, she suddenly stopped and glanced over at Fubuki, who didn't appear to care in the least. Seeing that, Lily continued, but she did so in a low voice.

"But Fubuki-sama ordered every member of the Blizzard group to help out at least 100 people for today, and she said with that our group's name will skyrocket in an instant," Lily looked nervous after saying that, but even so, I could feel the passion in her eyes.

"Are you dissatisfied with that, Lily?" Fubuki, who had been silently listening carefully before then commenting, made Lily break out in cold sweat.

"Of course, I'm satisfied. In fact, I'm very happy if I can be of use to Fubuki-sama," When Fubuki heard Lily's sincere and passionate answer, she was taken aback and didn't know how to respond.

"Humm... that's good then," but after that, Fubuki just snorted coldly while looking the other way.

Meanwhile, I, who knew what Fubuki was thinking at the moment, could only chuckle and say, "You are indeed a reliable subordinate, Lily, and it's a shame that your superiors don't appreciate your efforts."

After listening to my sarcasm, Fubuki's ears immediately twitched, and she said in a chilly tone, "ohh, try saying that one more time!"
