10 I hope the taste of your blood doesn't disappoint me

Finally, the professor allowed me to leave that boring place. Look how beautiful the scenery is outside. Even the scent of blood that wafts through the air is very alluring.

It took a while, but after what seemed like an eternity, I could finally taste the flavour of blood once more. So after coming out, I decided to start sucking the blood of all living things to my heart's content, beginning with the animals that inhabit this forest.

Although I am most satisfied with human blood, for the time being, I am content to drink the blood my children bring back from the forest.

I continued to fly towards the city as I licked the blood that was on my lips. I knew that once I reached the city, I would be able to find a significant quantity of human blood, and I was confident that with the amount of blood I had already consumed, I would develop into a being that was even more powerful.

I was startled when I heard the voice of someone in the middle of the forest, which was supposed to be quiet. There are no longer any living creatures in the forest because I sucked all of their blood out of them, and they all died.

'who is that.' I said to myself curiously, but after that, I opened my eyes while stretching because the amount of blood that was entering my body caused me to feel drowsy.

I could see a human standing on a large tree branch not too far away from me. The human was dressed in a black jacket with a hood covering his head, so I couldn't make out his face very well.

However, based on what I heard from his voice earlier, I am certain he is a young man. At the moment, he is looking at me with a smile on his face and giving me a sideways glance.

"Young man, are you going to answer my question?"

I tried once more to get a response from this mysterious young man because, to tell you the truth, I also believed that he wasn't an ordinary human. The professor had previously cautioned me to be wary of humans who call themselves heroes.

With a broad grin on my face, I began to instruct my children to disperse themselves and look all around the forest. At the same time, I began to swing my pointed hands like hooks towards the trees that were surrounding me.

When I swung my arms again, the forest area around me was instantly reduced into several pieces. With just one swing of my hand, I brought down several shade trees with thick trunks.

"It's useless," Suddenly, the voice of the young man I had heard earlier became audible not too far away from me.

When I turned to look for the source of the voice, I saw the mysterious young man standing on one of the downed trees and yawning.

"You're finally coming out, human."

"How are you going to stop me if you were just running around and hiding," I said in a disdainful tone, even my brows furrowed, showing that I was annoyed now.

"Don't worry. I could stop you in less than two seconds if I really wanted to, but for now, I just want to see what you're capable of."

After hearing the condescending words that came out of the young man's mouth, I immediately felt anger begin to boil inside of my body. This was the first time my food was making fun of me.
