178 NIKASU IS A FOODIE

"There must be some way...!!!!" said Miya as her hands clutched the edge of the table. Desperation wrote all over her face, she really regretted the fact she had to take away her own son's emotions due to the pressure from her clan.

"No...., your mind wouldn't be able to take the stress whereas due to your powers Maya can't participate. You must patiently wait for the time being," said Ichizu which cleared his stance on the matter.

But unfortunately, before he could resume eating he heard Miyuki's voice. Her face held a varying degree of emotions, hesitant, confident, blaming before it all turn into determination.

"Why don't you transfer my emotions if it can heal Oni-sama, after all, we too have the same blood running through our veins," she said before being immediately interrupted by Tatsuya's words.

"I don't need my emotions back so you are not allowed to risk your life. You are the top priority for me, so I wouldn't allow you to hurt yourself." with no emotion on his face, he turned to Ichizu and said in a clear tone.

"Thanks for all the things you have done for us but I won't allow anything to hurt her at all."

"That's why I told you all to wait patiently till I make any progress and try to fix the spell," replied Ichizu while wiping his hands with his napkin.

"I know that normally dancing after having food is bad so let's just play the music," said Maya who tried to steer away from the topic.

"So Ichizu-san, I hope you don't mind me asking but do you know how my mother lost her ability to manipulate magic.????" Miyuki with a confused expression.

"Of course, he was Nikasu himself who 'killed' your mother's psion powers," said Ichizu with a smile on his face as he looked towards Nikasu.

Frost started spreading throughout the house, the glass in Miyuki's hand froze so did her food, the ice-covered the ceiling and made its way towards the others.

Blue covered flame ignited on Ichizu's palm and started spreading throughout the place, the temperature rapidly rose while the frost disappeared upon touching the blue flame.

Strangely enough, the flame didn't burn anything other than the ice. From a third person's view, the whole dining room was burning in blue flame while the people in the room were quietly having their dinner.

"Sorry, I lost control over my emotions...." Miyuki sincerely apologized for the ice that turned their food in Frosty.

"It alright, we understand. The reason why he did so was that your mother was dying because of her magic. The mind-alteration magic of your mother made her one of the strongest long-ranged magicians but it was also corrupting her conscious."

Miyuki took a deep breath and stood up from her seat, she looked towards Nikasu with appreciation and bowed deeply.

"Thank you for saving mother's life, I will be forever grateful for what you did," she said as the demeanor of Yotsuba's heir displayed at full might.

Nikasu did respond to her neither did he looked at her, he looked at Maya and said in a cold tone "I think the Yotsuba's should learn how to control themselves, don't forget that others are also capable of magic, much more terrifying than them." said Nikasu with irritation written all over his face.

Nikasu was a foodie and the Twins knew about it, thus they understood the reason behind his irritation since his food was already cold.

"It's okay brother, no need to get pissed off at it let me revert it back....." smiled Ichizu as he raised his finger at Nikasu's plate.

A magic circle appeared in the air as the dish started turning into frost, the magic continued by the frost over it started receding and warmth returned to the food.

After a second, a tasty aroma filled the room while Nikasu once again ignored everyone around him started to continue with his food.
