1 Gamers Part 1

As a person,I really want to become a very popular person which is by mean in a legal way.I hold a very high expectation from people who got called 'popular'.From that point,I've been wondering,what can I do to become a popular person.Unlike other kids,my parent didn't really allowed me to use the internet until I start my middle school so I'm a bit clueless when it comes to things like trending and viral.Most of the information I get is mostly from other people's mouth and information from the television.Of course,as a kid,I never think too much about my household's condition nor about the thing that I know.But my desired to become popular person never faded so as many kids will do,I went to my parent and asked a very simple question,

"Mom,Dad,how can I become popular?"

Without wasting any times,my mother simply answered, "It is very simple,honey.You just need to study.Right,darling"

"Of course you're right,my dear.I can guarantee you that studious person are surely the most popular person in the world so be sure to work hard in your study,okay"

As most child will do,I blindly accept their answer and started studying like there were no tomorrow.I never deny what they said because it is true that many studious person become popular for example like Ball Cate,Steven Poverty and Holy Stank.Their knowledge are been used to help them achieve something which led them to become very popular.So,the fact that I still hold to my parent's word till this day is surely understandable and I will keep striving for it until one day,my name will become something that need to be said at least one in people life.

Until one day,

"Hey,that Granners things,is it popular or what?All of you keep talking about it this day"

Recently,there is one topic that pique my interest.It is Gannre or something.Most of my classmates start talking about it and of course,one word from them make me have a sudden interest.That word is 'popular'.

"First of all,it is Gamers and not Granners.Next,yes it is popular" said one of my female classmate.

"Oh,is that so.So what does this Gamma did actually?"

"Again,it is Gamers and not Gamma.Gamers is people who make a living by playing a games.Those gamers are pretty trending nowadays.I can't believe you didn't know about it." said that girl again with disappointed face.

"What so weird about it?It's normal that he doesn't know about it.I mean,he just keep study all the time to the point no one even have a courage to beat him" interrupted by her friend.Both of them agree with that reasoning.I don't find it worth to argue it so I just let it slide.

"So,you tell me that those Gamers are playing games to feed themselves?I'm pretty sure they didn't earn that much,after all.Who the heck will give so much money to a person whose work is just playing a game.This thing just waste my time.Become a studious popular person is better than that"

"Ah,okay.I don't force this topic on you but I will need to said that you're wrong about one thing"

"Hurm,what is that?"

"At certain situations,Gamers actually make more money than a studious person" that words struck me like a lightning.She continued, "and what the heck with that studious popular person is?Did you really think just by become a studious person,you will become popular?You really need to fix that part of your dream first" they leaved me blank after hearing what she said.What the?!?

Are you seriously saying that studious person is not longer popular in this world?Then what happen to all my from my childhood till my high school year??You're saying that I wasted it?!Nonono,this can't be right!I'm pretty sure they just said that because they jealous of me,right?Argh,I'm confused right now!!!

*Lunch Break Bell ringing*

During my lunch break,I usually spend my time inside the class,eating and studying at the same time but now,I just feel empty.

"Hurm,what should I do?Now I feel like I just wasted all my precious time in working on a useless ability.I don't know what I should done and what I shouldn't done anymore.To be honest,I already realized that by becoming a studious person alone won't make you popular but hearing it comes from another person surely feel different"

"Maybe if I become a Gamers,I can become more popular.But what games should I play?Tennis?Baseball?I think I'm pretty good in volleyball from the last PE class.Maybe I should strive for it"

As I am thinking,there are person besides me start talking to me.If I'm not wrong,people in my class call him a NEET.His name if I'm not wrong is...I don't remember it. "What the heck with the sudden interest with Gamers?You usually will stuff your face with books all the time.Does those girls word ring something on your head?" he said all those stuff without seeing my face.I don't either he is rude,shy or he just doesn't care about it.For now,I will take it as he rude.

"You could say so.I feel like all my times studying just got destroyed by those words.I can't believe that studious person is no longer popular" I sighed in front of him.

"What a joke.What make you think studious person will make you popular in the first place?I mean let me ask you,are you studying in a specific things like Chemical,History or Literature?You don't have any special goal at you.Your only goal to become popular by studying is nothing but just a waste on your head unless you have other goal.Did you want to become an engineer or did you strive to reach the moon?Make a specific goals at least,dude" those words surely hit me but seeing him say that while playing some video games surely didn't make him look serious.

"You said all those things me,did you even have a dream?You look like someone who have nothing better to do but just playing video games all the times"

"What did you say..." he suddenly stand up and looking menacingly at me.

"Hurm?" I don't understand what happen so I just chill but it seems like accidentally flick some sort of switch on him.

"You just said that I have nothing better to do!Don't you even see that I am focusing on become a Pro Gamers here!!Becoming a Pro Gamer is my biggest dream and no one can stop me.And this summer tournament,I will be the top"

"O-ouh,is that so?Wait,did you say Gamers?"

"Yes,I did.What's wrong with that?"

Wait,if he is a gamer,I might can take this chance and try to become one!This might be my only chance to change the way I want to be popular and looking at how focus he is on becoming one,I'm pretty sure he is my best choice!

"So,hey do you mind if you teach me how to be a Gamer?"

"No"

"What?That is fast!Can you even considered it?!"

"Like heck I want to teach you.I already busy with my summer tournament and school works.I don't have any time to waste on train you to become a Gamer.Find someone else"

After that,he goes back to his game console and ignore me.

"Come on,I don't think there are anyone that can teach me other than you and aren't you supposed to be grateful that someone like me choose you to teach me?!"

"Hurm?Why should I be grateful?"

His words hit me like a bullet from a sniper.Still,I will not give up until he accepted me.

The whole day,I keep following him and asked him non-stop.To the cafeteria,in the class,during the class duty and even when he went to the toilet.I never stop follows him.But as strong as my dream,his stubbornness is much stronger.To be honest,I have one trump card that I didn't want to use but if this keep going,I will end up failed.

"Hey,you.Wait!"

"Like I said countless time,no matter how many times you ask me,no matter if you follow me to the toilet or even my house,I will never accept to teach you!"

"Hehehe,hahahaha"

"What the-,you creep me out,dude!?!Does following me all day make you crazy?Wait,aren't it supposed to be otherwise?"

"Don't worry,I didn't get crazy.I just want to feel the satisfaction of winning only"

"Win?I never said that I will accept you!"

"Yes but not now because I will finally use my last resort"

"Yo-your last resort!!"
