3 Chapter 3

3RD PERSON'S POV

"I was told that you asked for my presence sensei" Hayabusa said bowing his head for respect

"Ah yes" he made a gesture for me him to sit down and hayabusa obliged as he sat in a criss-crossed position "A ninja reported the akuma ninja's whereabouts" Hayabusa stiffened and clenched his fists which were resting on his lap.

"where is he?" he spoke in a voice laced with venom.

"Land of Dawn" His sensei went to his side and placed a hand on his shoulder "After years of not knowing his location we cannot let this opportunity pass. Hanzo slaughtered more than half of our clan's ninja and I know you've got what it takes to defeat him that's why I have chosen you and taught you everything i know. The time has come hayabusa. Avenge our clan"

HAYABUSA's POV

As I draw nearer I saw Kagura sleeping under the cherry blossom tree. She must've dozed off while waiting for me. Well I am a little late today since sensei spoke to me earlier.

After training Kagura and I always meet up at this same spot. We met here when we were kids thus making it our favorite place to hang out.

Sitting down facing her i found myself staring. You could say I was completely captivated.

Deciding not to wake her up in her peaceful state, I took out a peice of paper and started writing

Kagura,

It is time for me to fulfill the mission I've been training all my life for. I know this isn't a proper way of saying goodbye but I wanted to let you know that you are very special to me and that I am glad I met you. Don't worry about me ill be fine I promise.

I placed a rock over the note preventing it from being blown by the wind.

Pushing aside strands of hair covering her face,I took of my mask and kissed her forehead. "Till we meet again Kagura-chan"

KAGURA's POV

Well that was a cool spell I'd like to learn someday. We arrived beside a turret. We walked for a few more minutes and chatted to pass the time.

"Welcome to the Land of Dawn!!" Nana exclaimed raising her arms to the side.

"woah" just looking at the place from afar leaves me in awe. I noticed that there was a small shadow casting over the place. Looking up I paused gaping at what I saw "Is that?.."

"The celestial palace" Nana finished what I was supposed to say since I was too astonished to continue speaking. I've heard stories about that place before.

"Legend has it that this city floating above the skies of the Land of Dawn was once home of the gods,was once a busting city patrolled by innumerable Nazar guardians having kaja as their leader. No demon that dared come near escaped these warriors, hence keeping peace at the celestial palace." Nana said as we began walking

"someone called Uranus is guarding the city right?

"That's right and there's more to the story but I'm afraid we don't have enough time" we stopped in our tracks "Well I guess this is it, are you sure you'll be fine on your own from here?"

I nodded "Yeah, thank you for everything Nana"

"No problem but just in case" She took something from her bag "take this map with you"

"Thanks" my smile suddenly turned to a frown

"Hey there's no need to be sad. I wrote my address at the back of the map. Make sure to visit me when you have the time promise?" she raised her pinky finger

I chuckled and hooked my own pinky finger with hers "Promise"
