2 Chapter 2

After making sure everyone was asleep I placed the note i wrote on the table and went out of my room. The hallway was silent.I tried to walk as quietly as possible to the exit.

I brought a bag full of clothes and food. I also have my weapon. The seimei umbrella. This has been passed down from generations within my family and I am the new successor of this secret weapon.

It's actually pretty cool since no one will suspect it's a weapon. People would just think of it as your typical umbrella.

I took a deep breath when I was no longer near our property. This is it kagura there's no turning back now.

Ok so I regret not asking haya's sensei where the path to the Land of dawn is. I am completely lost.

How could i find him if i didn't even know the way?! I was about to lecture myself when i heard the bush nearby rustle.

Walking towards the bush my hand gripped my umbrella tightly preparing for an attack. Something jumped out of the bush.

Is that a rabbit or something? I crouched down and took a closer look.

"Well you look cute and harmless to me." I petted it's head "are you lost little one?" I took an apple and knife from my bag. I started slicing it to a size that she can eat.

She was eating when I heard someone shouting from nearby.

"MOLINAAAA!!!"

As soon as the little creature heard the person she stopped eating.

"Is that your name?" I asked. She nodded and rushed to the one calling her tackling the person to the ground. I turned around and saw that it was a girl.

"There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you! Where did you wander of this ti-" the girl noticed me looking at them.

"Oh hello!" She smiled.

"Hi" I smiled back waving my hand at her.

"I'm guessing your the one that found her? " I nodded "Thank you"

I stood up "Glad i could help"

"I'm Nana by the way"

"Nice to meet you Nana I'm Kagura"

"Where are you off to? I noticed you were going somewhere just by looking at the stuff in your bag" I looked at my bag which was open. You could clearly see the clothes and foods inside. I guess I forgot to close it earlier.

"I'm going to the land of dawn" I answered as I grabbed my bag and closed it.

"Well I live there and uhm.. you're going the wrong way"

"Yeah, I noticed" I scratched the back of my head

"Well you can come with us if you want to. We were just heading back home after visiting a friend of mine"

Well she seems nice and friendly. I've got no other choice anyways. "Thank you"

"it's nothing besides we're friends now" she said smiling brightly at me. I smiled back at her "Now I need you to stand close to me. I know a way to go to the Land of Dawn in just a short amount of time"

I stood close to her and asked "how?"

"By using a spell called arrival"
