3 Getting a Flat-1

I marvelled at the sight of Gokuldham Society. It was newly built and some flats were not sold yet.

It consisted of 4 wings. A wing has 2BHK flats, B and C wing have 1 BHK flats and D wing has the Club House and a 4BHK flat, which is owned by the Matka King.

Well, he only appeared in the early episodes and was not much of an important character.

"Miss! Do you need any help?"

As I was busy examining the exterior of the society, a short man came to me.

I recognised him immediately. Abdul of the Soda Shop. A smile immediately formed on my face. He is one of the nicest guy in the show.

"Yeah. Does this Gokuldham Society have any empty flat? I am here to buy one, preferably a 2BHK one."

"Really? Yeah yeah yeah! You see that board there, 'Bhide Tution Classes'? That's our society's secretary's home. The flat just above his is not sold yet. Our society is still new."

"Oh thank you! Well, I am going to meet him."

"Should I escort you there?"

"Nah. But thanks for the help!"

"Umm, I should go. Nobody is at my store. Ah by the way! If you have anything to buy, just ask me! My store is just outside the gate. 'All in One' General Store."

"Yeah. I will contact you when I need your help."

"Okay! Best of Luck for your new home in Gokuldham!"

"Thanks!"

I happily strolled to go to Bhide's home. I wonder if I will hear his legendary 'Aiaiaiaiai!'

But my mood suddenly worsened.

"Oww!"

Somebody kicked a football on the back of my head.

I turned around and glared at the criminal. And I was face to face with the midget Tapu-sena. From where did they suddenly appear!?

"Sorry Aunty! We-"

"Who are you calling Aunty!? I will have you midgets know that I am just 23 years old!"

"Hey Aunty! You can't call Tapu a midget!" Tapu gave me a warning with the best glare a 9-10 year old kid can muster.

Ah shit! I forgot how troublesome he was in the beginning of the show. He framed Jethalal, his father, for Child Labour and had him arrested!

My god! Sunidhi, you better think once more before moving here!

Wait a second... Did he just...

"Did you call me Aunty again?"

"Yeah! What will you do about it?"

My eyes twitched in irritation. And look at all children except Sonu following his lead like a cultist. He really is a bad influence on others.

No wonder Bhide has so much problems with him.

"Uggh! I am going to live here from now on. I brought chocolates for you kids too. It's a pity that you won't be getting them-"

"Didi(Elder sister)! You are my didi from now on! Can you please give me the chocolates? Pretty please!?"

Of course, the sweet kid was Goli. The son of Hansraj and Komal Haanthi.

The writer really went with Haanthi surname.

(Haanthi means Elephant)

In the blink of eye, everyone started cheering "Didi! Didi!" for chocolates.

But I could only gaze at them with disappointment.

"Kiddos, haven't your parents taught you to not eat anything from strangers? What would you do if I was some kidnapper? Mumbai is a big city. Be more wary of strangers."

"She is right kids."

A voice came from my behind, and as I turned around, I was face to face with outstanding, legendary, Chhatrapati- Tution Teacher.

Atmaram Tukaram Bhide. The ekamev (one and only) secretary of the Gokuldham Society.

"Are you the secretary of this Society?"

"Yes. I am Atmaram Tukaram Bhide, the ekamev secretary of the Gokuldham Society. *Signature collar adjustment*. Are you the one looking for a flat?"

"Yeah. I heard from Abdul ji that the flat above yours is vacant. So I wanted to buy it."

"Sure. But first, come to our home! Madhvi, my wife makes very good tea! Let's discuss the procedure with some Bhakarwadi!"

"Bhakarwadi? I haven't eaten that in a long time. Let's go!"

Maybe, it will not be too bad. Atleast I will get to see the drama in real life and my life wouldn't be so boring.
