Daya Jethalal Gada: Wife of Jethalal. A Desi with magic in her hands for making delicious food. The strongest woman. Feats include defeating armed gangsters with a water bottle.

Champalal Jayantilal Gada: Father of Jethalal. The Uncle of everyone.

Tapu: Son of Jethalal and Daya, grandson of Champalal. Feats include breaking window glasses of almost everyone in the society, especially Bhide. Also the leader of Tapu Sena(Tapu Army).

Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide: Tution Teacher.

Popatlal: Synonym of Eternally Single. His name means parrot and his favourite word is 'Cancel'. Golden Crow Award Winner. If you touch his beloved umbrella he will cancel you from the planet.

Babita: Simply Babitaji.

Taarak Mehta: A writer. Dubbed as the Fire-brigade of Jethalal. Whenever Jethalal has a problem, he comes to him. Tired of Diet food which includes only salad and soup.

Anjali Mehta: Diet Specialist.

Dr Hansraj Hathi: Has a house clinic. Overweight. Can't fit in car. Feats include giving candies instead of medicine to his wife's relatives.

Iyer: Husband of Babita. Jethalal's arch-enemy.

Roshan Singh Sodhi: The enthusiastic idiot. Strong guy and the most romantic person. Owner of Sodhi Garage. Frequently drinks.

Roshan Singh Sodhi: Wife of Roshan Singh Sodhi. Punishes Roshan for drinking.
