PA Ren wondered if there was a hole somewhere and if yes, was it okay for him to jump on it and hide until his boss wouldn't be able to find him?

He nervously took a step backward but Li Ruyan advanced toward him and gripped his hand firmly, her eyes warning him to cooperate which made him gulp.

"PA Ren offered to take me home, right? I have decided to agree to your offer." Li Ruyan flashed a blinding smile towards him and called for a waiter, handing her black platinum gold card that had people's eyes widening.

"Ah, I ordered too much food. Please pack it up and send it to this address." Li Ruyan said to the waiter who was just as equally nervous as PA Ren.

The limited edition black platinum gold card that was rumored to have only 100 copies in the world was in the hands of a woman that was presumed to be a third party?! Everyone's eyes became profound as they viewed this whole scene in a different light. They began to remember that this was the same woman that had ordered an Ergo Mullen without batting an eye.

"Hey, hey, don't tell me this WRP is really a hidden mogul?"

"Unbelievable. Then isn't this a slap to the face for CEO Yang and his daughter?"

"Then she's really a legit WRP?"

"Who's daughter is this WRP? I have a son who is still single!"

Li Ruyan gave one last glance towards Yang Shiwei and smiled sweetly, making the woman turn as red as her dress. Li Ruyan didn't once look at Min Yue, her heart too hurt and angry to find out what his expression was and if he was even regretting his stupid decision to break up with her in such a humiliating way.

After getting her card back, Li Ruyan dragged PA Ren with her without saying a word but just as she was about to leave, she paused and her eyes went to her table. She gestured for the waiter to bring her stuff to her in which the waiter obediently did, not wanting to be on the receiving end of the drama.

Once Li Ruyan got her hands on the cake she made and the gift that she had wrapped on her own, she handed it to PA Ren.

"PA Ren, I don't want my efforts to go to waste so please accept this cake that I baked. Do you like strawberries? It's a strawberry cake."

PA Ren wanted to refuse. He could already feel the cold gaze of his boss on the back of his head and he could hear the distant bells being played during his approaching funeral. PA Ren gulped and was about to shake his head when Li Ruyan forcefully shoved the cake box to his hands.

Smiling, she added, "If PA Ren doesn't like the strawberry flavor, I'll bake something else. I am good at baking. Also, this is for you. I picked this gift carefully. I hope you like it." Li Ruyan opened the box and handed him the 8 million yuan watch with a happy smile on her face.

PA Ren was about to cry as Li Ruyan took away his old watch and placed the new watch on his wrist. He felt as though the wrist that was wearing the watch weighed a ton.

He wouldn't be surprised if people went after him in the street just to rob him of this limited edition watch that came from A. Lange & Söhne, a famous watch company in Germany with over 178 years of history behind it.

It seemed that Miss Li really liked things that came from the German country. PA Ren noted this, planning to tell his boss as soon as this fiasco was over.

However, Li Ruyan wasn't finished just yet. She entangled her left arm with PA Ren's right arm and leaned towards him.

"On second thought, let's just eat here. I still have a wine of Ergo Mullen. It would be such a waste not to enjoy it. Since I've already made a reservation, PA Ren, please, come and dine with me."

"Miss Li..."

"Yes?" Li Ruyan asked, dragging him to the table and not even waiting for his answer.

Just when she was about to sit him down, a hand had grabbed her arm and yanked her away.

"Li. Ruyan." A voice gritted out. Li Ruyan fixed her expression and raised her head, meeting Min Yue's angry gaze.

"Enough. Stop humiliating my assistant. I am a busy person. I don't want to deal with your mind games."

"That's odd. Didn't Miss Yang suggested that I change targets? PA Ren is available and still single. Also, didn't he offer to take me home? It's only natural that I accept his offer since I am also single right now!"

She grabbed his hand, intending to remove it. "CEO Min, remove your hands from me. You already have a fiancée. Don't bother with a 'loose woman' and a 'beggar,' since you have an image to maintain." Li Ruyan argued fiercely, purposely using the words that CEO Yang and Yang Shiwei had used to provoke him.

Min Yue's face darkened when she heard this. Li Ruyan had never seen him make this kind of expression before which made her lose all her fighting power.

"Li Ruyan, you want to hook up with another man? Fine, do what you want. But my assistant is off-limits. Go and bother someone else. You are acting so shameful, it's disgusting."

He let her go and looked at her with the same kind of disdain that CEO Yang had shown her. Li Ruyan's smile fell. She could accept his indifference. She could stand seeing his cold expression and annoyed expression but this...

This was utterly painful.

To be on the receiving end of disgust from her boyfri--- from her ex-boyfriend that she loved so much was truly painful.

She had imagined this night to be wonderful and memorable because it marked the four years that they had been together. She was not only excited but also very happy when she left her apartment. She waited all day long just to see his loving smile and be in the warmth of his embrace and yet..

And yet, this was what greeted her.

The man that she had loved so deeply was engaged with another woman and it had been three months since his engagement with that very woman that Li Ruyan thought was the other party. Li Ruyan really felt like crying since three months ago, they had just started being deeply intimate with each other.

She had been so happy to be closer to him and they were even discussing their future while cuddling together in bed. Li Ruyan had asked him if he wanted children and he had been happy as well, telling her that it didn't matter if there were children as long as he was with her.

Li Ruyan's lips trembled.

She was now confused. Did this make her the third party in the relationship?

"You are acting so shameful, it's disgusting." Min Yue's words repeated in her mind like a broken record. She hadn't even noticed that they had left and she was left standing there looking like a fool.
