13 Rest in Peace

Du Tianxing's eyes were cold as he looked at his cousin. "Remember, you are already engaged to Miss Yang. I have allowed you to fool around with that woman for three more months but starting today, this needs to stop."

"Du Tianxing, whether I fool around with a woman or not, is none of your business. The plan will continue. Just like what we've planned, the Min family and Yang family will fall. That is the only thing you have to worry about."

Min Yue's answer was obviously not satisfactory as Du Tianxing's face became livid, his veins bulging in his neck as he breathed in and out, trying to calm himself. His knuckles clenched tightly beside him as if he was stopping himself from launching at his cousin to direct a punch at the fool who had been bewitched by a woman.

After a few seconds, Du Tianxing exhaled a huge puff of air, some of the tension leaving his body as he once again tried to be patient.

"Min Yue, you are right. Whatever you do with that woman is none of my business but if I hear that you have been seeing her in public, I will have no choice but to remove her from the equation. I don't care if you care about her or love her or using her for entertainment. Between our revenge and that woman, who would you pick? Min Yue, my dear cousin, you better tell me that it isn't that woman because you won't like it when I'm angry." Du Tianxing walked towards the door. PA Ren moved away, allowing him to grab the doorknob.

"I only care about revenge. Those other people who try to get in the way of that would naturally be my enemy. Even you, cousin. If you keep fooling around, disrupting our plans, well… I might just bury you along with your 'beloved' Min family."

Du Tianxing turned the doorknob and walked out of the office, he raised his chin, a cold air surrounding him. His aura was menacing and the employees that caught sight of his handsome yet scary expression backed away, lowering their heads, not wanting to be on the receiving end of his anger.

PA Ren closed the door again, sighing soundlessly when the office was given privacy once more.

When the door closed, a loud 'bang' resounded across the room. PA Ren looked up and saw that the CEO had stood up and the laptop he was currently using was on the floor. The screen had cracked under the impact and it was obvious that it had been broken from being thrown.

PA Ren saw that the CEO had his hands on the table, his eyes closed calmly but it was ruined by the scowl on his lips.

"Wei Ren, don't let that bastard barge inside my office next time. Otherwise, what am I paying you for?" Min Yue said very carefully but the unveiled threat in his words made PA Ren, whose real name was Wei Ren, gulp nervously.

He really regretted being under the employment of this vengeful spirit but it had already been six years since they've been acquainted. He worked under the CEO's mother before but then the madam died and before passing away, asked him to work for her son and to guide the rebellious teenager, ensuring that he doesn't commit suicide.

Because PA Ren and his family owed the madam a lot, he agreed and went to work under the CEO. The madam's claims that he would need to summon all the patience when dealing with the CEO were not untrue. Indeed, even in university, the CEO who was still in college was already so rebellious and was difficult to deal with.

It was only when the CEO met up with Miss Li that he slowly changed and became more reasonable. Back then, the CEO had anger management problems but because of Miss Li, he was able to keep compose more often than not. He was even able to come up with revenge against his own family and the Yang family for killing the madam and his sister.

PA Ren nodded to the CEO, showing a subservient attitude. He was only five years older than the CEO but because he came from an average family, he was quick-witted and hardworking. He was a very patient person and the madam who took pity on him and saw his talent, took him under her wing, employing him. This allowed PA Ren to provide for his family and since then, he has been very grateful to the madam.

Naturally, even if he really wanted to hit the CEO in the head for always being so difficult, that was still his employer and he did not want to hit the madam's son. Moreover, even though the CEO was like this, the CEO like the madam, took care of PA Ren's family and sheltered them. He even gave them a new house which is why PA Ren was loyal to the CEO, not just because of the madam but because the CEO was a respectable and generous man.

If the madam hadn't been murdered, and if the CEO's sister was left unscathed, the CEO wouldn't have undergone so many drastic changes that he even needs to pretend to sell himself just to let the Yang family's guard down.

The CEO wasn't easy prey. The CEO had been deliberately acting subservient to the Min family and Yang family. He even ended up hurting Miss Li for it but PA Ren also understood that it needed to be done.

When the CEO's revenge was over, Miss Li and the CEO could finally get married and the madam would be able to rest in peace in the heavens. The same can be said for the CEO's younger sister.
