2 Loved Him So Much

Li Ruyan had also just started her career and was working a stable job at a company, two kilometers away from her apartment. She was working as a secretary for the CEO of a company and was doing very great in her job, putting it her all.

With her recommendations and high achievements when she was still in college, Li Ruyan had no problem obtaining her job. It also helped that the CEO was such an easygoing person and was only four years older than her.

They were more like buddies instead of employer and employee. Still, they were both very professional when it came to working and Li Ruyan was quick to separate her personal feelings from her job.

Right now was her four-year anniversary with Min Yue and her boss was kind enough to allow a day off since she had always been a hardworking employee who was both diligent and good at her job.

The smile on Li Ruyan's face stayed as she thought of baking sweets for her boss as a thank you. She was really lucky to have him as her employer and he wasn't like those other CEOs who were cold and overbearing and were often described as an 'ice prince.'

Regretfully, her Min Yue also fell into the category of being an ice princess. He was probably the most nitpicky among the CEOs she had met.

Ah well. He had only just recently started at his position and was suffering pressure from all sides so it was natural for him to be a little hot-tempered.

That was completely fine! Li Ruyan would be understanding and patient like usual. She was used to his angry little episodes and that he only needed a little bit of her comfort to calm down.

This is why tonight, Li Ruyan planned to surprise him.

It was only after a few minutes of careful driving that Li Ruyan arrived at her destination.

She got out of her ride and grabbed the blue box, very careful when holding it. The place that her Min Yue was at was certainly one of the most luxurious restaurants in the city. It was quite fancy and when she entered inside, she could already tell that the decorations were top notch.

The owner must have paid a high price for the architecture the design not to mention that there were a lot of famous artworks displayed on the walls.

The smile on her face widened as she sat down on a table and ordered food. The waiter smiled at her and was a bit surprised to see such a beauty dining alone but he was also very smart and focused more on his job.

Li Ruyan politely gave him a smile and listed off the dishes she wanted to eat as well as the dishes that her Min Yue liked a lot. She could see the surprise once more in the waiter's eyes when he heard about her long list. It was certainly normal to feel surprised since it didn't seem possible that a small woman like her would be able to eat all of those dishes.

"I am waiting for my boyfriend." Li Ruyan told the waiter who immediately nodded and was understanding of her situation. Moreover, no one can really berate a beauty and a smiling beauty at that.

The waiter blushed everytime he looked at Li Ruyan. Stuttering, he repeated the dishes and said to wait for a little while so that the kitchen can prepare them.

"And also, an Egon Muller Scharzhofberger Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese." Li Ruya pronounced the name of the most expensive wine in the list with fluency and dictation. She finished it off with a smile while watching the waiter go shell-shocked at her order.

"Pardon..?" The waiter asked somewhat dumbfoundedly.

Li Ruyan asked if he was okay and almost robotically, he nodded and blushed, repeating her order again before bidding her goodbye to go to the kitchen.

Some people had glanced at her since they overheard her ordering one of the most expensive wines on the list.

The average price of the wine she ordered is $13,220 and the price could go up to $33,883. Egon Muller is one of the most expensive white wines from the Mosel region of Germany.

Li Ruyan's eyes were very sharp when she saw the name on the menu and had understood just how famous this restaurant was that it even has this kind of wine from Germany on the menu. Li Ruyan praised her Min Yue inwardly, for him to choose such a fine restaurant to dine in.

She sent him a message, asking him if he was already done and that she was waiting for him.

Lin Ruyan had known that he was currently on the second floor while she was on the first floor, just waiting for him to come down.

After she had sent the message, she looked and stared at the stairs, patiently waiting and expecting her man.

Li Ruyan had only waited for another five minutes before sending another message since Min Yue didn't seem to have replied.

While still expecting a response, she stared at the screen of her phone with a focused gaze then her eyes flicked towards the cake and the other small gift that she had wrapped.

Li Ruyan touched it briefly, closing her eyes as she imagined the happy face of her boyfriend when he saw her after finishing his work.

She also entertained the idea that he might even kiss her in public which made her cheeks heat up. Of course, that idea wasn't farfetched since he had done it multiple times in the past, not caring whether they were in public or private.

If he had the urge to kiss her, he would do it. If he wanted to hug her, he would pull her to his chest and wrap his arms around her.

And if he wanted sex, he would nibble her ear and look at her with naughty intentions, asking for her permission before driving them to her apartment or his condominium. Sometimes, if he was really thirsty, he'd do her in the car and Li Ruyan would be too weak to refuse him.

She loved him so much that she said yes to his every whim and wasn't a very strict and prude girlfriend.
