Jack continued to shiver at the back, clinging on to Erika and giving the vanguard role to me. "Hmm.. Hmmm.. Hmmm.. Hmm~"

I hummed as I was excited to find any new monsters. Walking straight, Plants burst out from the ground. "Hyaah!" Startled I threw my dagger at it and it went straight through killing the one right behind it too. The plant had a head, along with teeth, why do plants have teeth?!

While I was trying to retrieve my dagger, tim stood at the front to fulfill his role. The rest of the plants started shooting toxins. I punched out with my recently covered right fist and most of the toxins got blown by the shockwave. Yet some got onto me and Tim. Tch, neurotoxins?! The surroundings changed colour and distorted. I was drugged. Closing my eyes, I used my ears to pinpoint where the plants were. I punched out in that direction, sending a shockwave out. Opening my eyes, there was nothing there... Well I'm sorry I can't fight with my eyes closed like every cultivation slash martial art main character!I totally punch in the wrong direction and almost hit my teamates!

Oh wait! There was a priest in the party."Hey!Erika!Please remove my debuffs!" Yes it was debuffs, the plant monsters are actually stacking them as much as I stack my speed buffs which is 10 at a time. "Ok! Leave it to me!" (Erika) Replying back, Erika waved her stuff and a green aura enveloped me and glowed for a few seconda before disappearing.

" Nice! " I reached for my exploding dagger on my back pocket and launched it at the plants. *Booom*An explosion followed by waves of fire, disintegrating the plants. Well, those would be useless soon anyway, they're only tier 3 even if they are "Ex" Fireballs. Apparently, compared to the normal fireball, EXes do twice the damage and burn with a blue colour instead of orange. After the plants were gone, there was a huge rumbling noise that came from behind.

The party ran as fast as they could from the rumbling. The ground shook as I hear something with high pressure coming in my general direction. At first only green appeared... No it was all green... A giant vine was flooding the tunnel and rushed at me from the exit. Mind you, it was ONE vine that was big enough to fill up the whole tunnel.

Judging by the speed, the vine was moving at 500 000 m/s. I could tell because my speed was 3 060 000 after using the [black speed ring].

It seems that it was intelligent enough to block the entrance? Maybe Its leading me somewhere? Anyway, I'll go where it wants and then kill it. Running away from it fairly easily I saw the party members running as fast as they could. There were 2 tunnels, so I was gonna carry all of them and go through one but... "I'm sorry. [distant taunt]" Tim used an aggro skill to attract the vine to around my vicinity. Jack breaks a strange blue crystal, "retreat! Escape crystal!" My eyes widened in shock. "...". "EMILY!" (Haruka and Erika) screamed.

While continuing to run from the giant vine, I couldn't look infront.I kept staring at the ground, my skull felt heavy, my breathing became a little erratic and I felt like I was drowning.Was that a betrayal? Why did they leave me if they had the crystal? So that the vine wouldn't hit them when they activated the crystal?I see thats common sense, prioritising your long time friends over a stranger, shouldn't the 9 year old kid (me) suppose to be prioritised? Couldn't Jack do it when he felt the rumbling? Or was he planning this?

I was overtakened by anger. My irises trembled from the stress building up. This happened before, back in my previous life. My classmate would question why my eye balls were constantly moving around after a certain point of doing sit-ups. I wasn't the weakest kid, but I'm not exactly fit either. I was average and so after 40 sit-ups, I was extremely tired, I felt that shaking my eyeballs would help, I didn't know. For some reason, after one time, I couldn't stop doing it during sit-ups. I unconsiously stop running and got rammed by the giant vine through the wall... Vomitting out blood, my face contorted from the familiar taste of blood filling my throat. "Ugh, status open" How much hp did I have left? Hp:200/2400. Hey, so I have no friends again. Why did I come to this world if I couldn't make friends? Why did I come to this world if I was just gonna die here in a dungeon? What was my goal in coming here? More dungeon exploration, I said. Feeling excited I reasoned with myself. Having the goal of becoming stronger than that teleporting demihuman, a goal that I made to keep myself busy with. Were all these my true feelings?

The vine moved back a little from shock. Even monsters get shocked huh...
