Chapter 43: THERE ARE SHADOW PEOPLE, MOTHER! part 3

Valerian and tophat lead me to a very extravagant green door that I only opened after several minutes of prodding.

Gryffindor, I am not.

I opened the door and couldn't help exclaiming, "Wow!"

Inside was this giant greenery, filled with all kinds of jungle plants and tall as skyscraper trees! I could hear the sounds of birds, and imps, and all kinds of animals!

As much as I wanted to explore the impossible jungle in front of me, Valerian said, "Ah, Nope, not this room. We really need labels, don't we, dearie? How was I supposed to know a dark green door meant Jungle?!" And led me down this seemingly infinite corridor towards a pink door.

"Go on, open it, dearie."

"I'm not sure I should," I replied honestly.

"It shouldn't be anything dangerous. Isn't that right, Lemont?"

"Rightly so."

"Alright..." I murmured and opened the pinkest door I've ever seen.

Inside was...a giant bubble bath. A pink bubble bath.

I've seen everything, mother.

The room was the size of the royal ballroom, and had a giant twelve by twenty foot shallow pool, maybe three inches deep in the center. It was surrounded by several smaller, yet seemingly deeper pools, all overflowing with pink bubbles.

Where the throne would usually be, there are...pink and neon blue giant rocks making a ledge where a water slide of sorts, was leading towards on of the smaller pools. There was a magical waterfall coming down from...somewhere and the water was pink. Everything was pink.

The sounds of splashing and giggling bouncing off the walls, strange children with extra amenities playing.

"Ahh, the nymphoid baths. Always wondered where those were. We really need labels, Lemont."

I made to go into the room, having heard nothing to contrary my decision when Valerian stopped me with her cane.

"A-ah, dearie, best not visit the nymphoids lest you be wanting to drown in ecstasy. Don't let those illusions fool you. nasty creatures, dearie." She said, bringing a chill down my spine.

"I once knew a man who went swimming with them. He was never the same afterward." Tophat--Lemont said.

Charming.

"Now, next door, shall we?"
