Ways around the ranch

"Are you sure I'm going to need all of this?" She pointed to the pile of clothes and shoes that Daniel was picking in the clothing shop. 

He woke her up this morning and fed her a quick breakfast before dragging her to the town. He wanted to get her suitable clothes while they were here, meaning shirts, jeans, shoes, and a hat.

He did agree with him about the new clothes, but they did not need to buy a whole wardrobe. Scarlet felt she only needed a few sets for the week. 

"You'll be going to need it every time we come by and visit." He explained why the need for all the clothes, even though they would only be here for the week.

"Fine, but cut it in half. I don't need all of that. I can easily buy it if I need it later on." She was not about to spend his money on things that she might not need or use.

She shuffled to the pile of clothes and picked only the things she felt were practical to buy. The rest, she believed she could do without them.
