2 The Beginning After the End

First Chaos, Light Space.

A blue ball of light flashes as it speeds through light space in the see of stars at a speed many times higher than the speed of light.

A red ball of light chases after the blue ball light but seems to be falling short in terms of speed and decides to attack, the red ball of light shoots a light beam towards the blue ball of light and time seems to stop.

Space shatters and they both enter deep space.

Both balls of light transform into humanoid figures both identical to each other. 

They take on the figure of a teenage looking handsome young man with long hair, glassy eyes and an emotionless expression. He's tall with broad shoulders and well-toned muscles wearing a long white daoist robe.

The only thing telling them apart is the eye and hair color with the red one having red hair and eyes and the blue one having blue eyes and hair.

[Action] – [Delivering the contract shall take priority]

The blue one spoke in a robotic voice as it turned around.

"Wait! No"

'Why is this happening? What is he doing in the first chaos? He seems to be from a further future than me, could it be…'

"Initiate manual override; Command Code 1"

The red one spoke in an anxious tone.

The blue one spoke as he instantly appeared in front of the red one.

"Wait! No! Why did the override get cancelled? Who sent you here? Did something happen to the chaos? I need to save the…"

Before he could finish speaking, the blue one placed his hand on the red one's head and space cracked. The red one disappeared without a trace.

…

Planet Earth, Qin Ming International.

"Hey [REDACTED], how's the new project coming along?"

A cheerful, friendly voice called out from the other side of the office.

"It's alright, I'll manage by tomorrow" 

[REDACTED] replied as he stretched his arms before standing up to fetch some water from the other side of the office.

The other voice, now closer, spoke in a quiet, smooth voice,

"It's game night at my place tonight, you in?"

"You guys go on without me, I'll join you later on when I'm finished here"

"Don't push yourself too hard, see you later"

He said as he walked off.

[REDACTED] walked back to his computer and continued doing his work. 

Five Hours Later.

He stood up and yawned as he stretched his hands.

He looked at the clock on the opposite side of the room. 

'Oh Sh*t, its already midnight, I was so immersed I didn't even notice the time'

He took his coat from the chair and wore it as he walked out of the office, turning off the lights and closing the doors behind him.

*Ding

A notification sound came from the phone in his pocket, he reached out and took it out,

[Mom] – [Happy 27th Birthday son, mom and dad love you. I know you're so obsessed with work but you should visit us every now and then, your sister misses you]

'Come to think of it, I'm already twenty-seven years old, I haven't seen my parents in a while. A while is kind of an understatement, I haven't seen them since I started working five years ago. I guess I should go visit them next month'

'I've been obsessed with games ever since I was young, I even studied programming so that I could develop games of my own. I even managed to land a job at Qin Ming International, they've released some of the most popular titles for the past decade or two. 

Although the work conditions and pay aren't all that good, I still work there, I also have some of my personal projects that I do when I'm free and I've managed to publish a few popular titles myself. 

But I always feel that something is missing, I've learned all the programming knowledge I could possibly find but I feel that I'm still not there yet, I even branched out to other aspects like designing, web development, app development and such but I still feel incomplete. 

Maybe it's because the current technology just isn't there yet, or maybe it's because of other restrictions. Something is always calling out to me and I don't know what it is, that's why I'm always immersed in my job, only when I'm deeply concentrating can I let go of this feeling'

'Mhh, what's that?'

A blue light ball descends from the sky.

'Is it a meteor? So beautiful, this feeling again, I can feel it, it calling out to me'

His eyes turn red and his hair grows out to his waist, his mind goes blank as he floats up towards the blue light.

The blue light descends slowly and elegantly like an angel falling from the celestial palace.

They both meet in the sky; space shatters and they enter deep space. At this moment, they both transform into the men from earlier with the blue ball keeping its blue hair and eyes and [REDACTED] acquiring red hair and eyes.

"You finally made it; I've been waiting for ten billion years. Which chaos did you come from?"

[Report] – [I belong to the third chaos]

"As I expected. What happened? Why are you so late?"

[Report] – [I encountered you from the second chaos and had to take a detour]

"That's not good. What happened? Did you send him back?"

[Positive] – [He tried to use a manual override but I sent him back using the expel function]

"That's good, if those Creator Lords follow us back to the first chaos using the second chaos it would be a big problem. Entering through the third chaos which doesn't exist is the safest option"

"But it's only a matter of time before they catch on to us, execute code 999, after successful execution, execute code 0 and destroy yourself as well as the first chaos. Thanks for sticking with me until the end Rasiel, let's start all over again, I'm willing to bet it all on him, I hope he accomplishes what you and I couldn't"

He spoke and hugged Rasiel who had already turned back into a blue light ball.
