3 Free At Last...Not

Su Mei woke up the next day, refreshed and happy. 'At least I don't have to deal with that bastard anymore'... and she smiled. She turned to get out of bed, but then she saw a blue screen floating in front of her. It read, "MISSION: FLOWERS BLOOM IN SPRING". Under the title, there were two potions: open and exit. Su Mei, trembling, reached toward "open". After she seemingly 'touched' the button, the screen opened to a wider screen with more words on it.

The mission details read: "Get Gu Wang Yong to fall head over heels with you. Mission Rewards: 10 gold. 24 hours to get started on the mission. You will be terminated at the failure of the mission".

Su Mei was angered speechless.

"I just f*cking divorced him, and you want me to seduce him?!? What is this f*cking thing anyway?" Su Mei yelled. She flopped on the bed, tired from her frustration. Will it really terminate her? She wasn't willing to find out. But...in all the novels, System always chose previous assassins, cultivators, or CEOs. Was the System running out of people? If that was true, she didn't have to believe all the System's bullshit. Su Mei decided to just wait the 24 hours mission time she had. After all she had already died once, going to heaven was way better than having to deal with b*tches.

"Having already died once, dying again is no problem." Su Mei smirked, thinking of how to spend her days, depending on whether she was going to end up in heaven or hell.

Su Mei had 10 minutes left until the supposed "termination". She thought of any last words to say.

"Li Jiyang, I will always love you. " Su Mei closed her eyes that were tearing up. Her brother, Li Jiyang, had just applied to colleges and were taking exams. He was the one she truly loved as a sister. The only reason she regretted dying was Li Jiyang.

Now Su Mei had 20 seconds left. She smiled, because for some reason, she was calm in her soul. She started to count down in her mind. '10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...0...' Su Mei felt cold all over and then her consciousness slipped away.

When Su Mei came to, she could not see or hear a thing. She felt light, like she was floating.

"Welcome to the System's base for reincarnators." Su Mei heard a mechanical voice in her head.

"I don't think I came well. I wish I died." Su Mei spoke freely to the System. She was a little frustrated that the System was keeping her alive.

"We kept you alive because one of your past lives is as a goddess. If we killed you, the wrath of the gods would come upon us."

"So what do you want me to do?" Su Mei asked, annoyed.

"Complete missions obediently, and you can return to your world 5 minutes before you died. If the missions are not completed, Li Jiyang will be terminated in your stead."

Su Mei was infuriated. Just to accomplish their goal, the System would murder people? Su Mei was angered, though she knew she had no choice.

"Okay. How many missions must I complete?"

"Ten. We are letting you skip Gu Wang Yong's mission though, so nine."

"Thank you so much." Su Mei half meant it. She did not want to deal with such a man.

Su Mei saw a panel in front of her, much like the missions panel earlier. It said, "Transfer to mission's destinations?" Su Mei pressed 'Confirm'. Then she blanked out.

"Miss? Miss?" Su Mei opened her eyes to a handsome man shaking her. Su Mei almost exploded into fangirldom. How could a man be this handsome? Hi features were perfect!

"Yeah?" She answered, but her attention focused on something. A blue screen appeared, bearing the words "MISSION: FIND LOVE IN THE CITY".

Mission detail read: "Marry Liu Siyi and earn 1 billion dollars from him. Mission time: 7 days. You will be transported out of this dimension in 7 days, regardless of completion or failure."

Next to the man over her, there was a green screen with numbers and letters on it. At the top it read "Liu Siyi". Su Mei's eyes glinted; an opportunity was presented in front of her, it would be a waste to not use it.

"You ran me over, yes?" Su Mei sat up and faced Liu Siyi.

"Sorry, I bumped you with my car. I'll compensate you."

"Marry me as compensation."

"Pardon?"

"Marry me as compensation."

"..." Liu Siyi was shocked speechless. Did this woman know who he was? He was Liu Siyi! Liu Siyi, the president of the biggest corporation in the world! Women were lining up to see his face! But he did need something to ward off other women.

"...No." Liu Siyi stood up and got back in his car. He drove away, leaving Su Mei in the dust.

"...No worries, I have my ways." Su Mei smirked, rolling around in the dust and smearing some on her face.

The next day, a ruffled secretary ran into Liu Siyi's office without even knocking. He held an a tablet playing the morning news.

"Sir, sir, this is urgent, you must look at this right away!" The secretary said.

"What is it, that you didn't even knock?" Liu Siyi took off his glasses and held his forehead, waiting,

"Look at this," the secretary showed the tablet and pressed the play button.

"This morning, a haggard woman showed up on the streets, obviously very distressed. She was crying streams of tears, said some witnesses. When our morning production crew encountered her, we asked her some questions and found a shocking truth.

""I was walking along a deserted road after my bus stop and was crossing the road on a green light when suddenly a car, ignorant of the signal, came rushing at me. Luckily, it braked on time and did not damage me much. When the owner of the car got out, I saw it was Liu Siyi. "Find that woman and bring her to me!" Liu Siyi yelled. "We'll see if she can still spit bullshit when she marries me..."
