4 I Can Travel (Chapter 3)

I CAN TRAVEL BETWEEN 2 WORLDS CHAPTER 3

The night has come. It's time.

When the night comes I never really get tired that I have to sleep. Different than normal humans I think by now I have changed my own physiology.

It's not really bad so I didn't really mind it.

I can go to the other world in two ways.

The first is to just sleep. It's easier certainly.

My body here will get some rest and on the other side, I will get to my body there.

Then there is another way that I have found out later on from my 12 years old self. That is opening the portal.

The principal is the same. My mind will be transferred there.

It's basically the same now that I think about it.

The difference was. If I open the portal the times here will be stopped.

It's quite cheating. I will admit I have used this way to cheat on the exam before.

I'm actually smart. But I'm not above using any means necessary to get things done as long I didn't hurt people too much.

Anyway. If I stop the times here it means when I'm back I won't know what I can spend them on. Besides back to sleep that is. And even then I will just get back there if I sleep here.

So with that, the best choice to go on the night was sleeping.

6 hours is more than enough to get some adventure anyway.

AFTER SOME SLEEPING THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW THE PROCESS ABOUT LATER

'I'm back.' I come back to the inns I sleep in.

I bring out my leather armor and go outside. it's already day here.

"Aldi, you have woken up eh lad?" Ask the owner of these inns

"Yeah, kinda. Hey, get me some meat and water will you." I toss him 1 silver coin.

"Oh, this early and you want to drink already?"

"No, not alcohol today. I have some adventure to do." I have drinking here.

It's not that bad I guess. But it certainly can be better.

"Hoho, you certainly remind me of my adventure day..."

"Spare me of your story old guy. I'm quite tired just hearing your voice. Hahahaha." I guess I sort of creating a new persona here. One who is a frank person.

"Hmph, the nerves of this brat. Just you wait when you come crawling here begging for some food later."

"Dad, don't be like that to customer." Rina the daughter of the bar owner said.

"Hahaha, okay okay. I understand. Here brat. Eat your meal and just go get some adventure ay." He gave me a nice meal. One fruit, some skewered meat, and water.

It's good. Damn, this guy really is a good cook huh.

"Well, I'm finished," I said to them and left the inns.

I walk to the guild,

"Hey there girl, how about you join us. We are strong you know? We can give you some protection if you gave us some services. Ain't right boys?" Some unsavory word reaches my ear.

"Uuuu...Ummm... I.... II...."

"Let's go, girl.."

"Hoy!" I go there to see some familiar faces.

"Cih, you Bastard dare to come to my territory again and interrupt me." As I thought it was a normal thug I have beaten on numerous occasions.

"You pick a girl in front of me? There is no way I will you idiot do what you want!"

"Boss, it's Aldi the Bloody Black. We should go now." Some of his smarter underlings advise him.

"Cih, just you wait you bastard. I will have my revenge." With that, he went away.

"Are you alright?"

"Uhm, thank you, sir." The girl I help was beast kin. They have a half-human and half-animal body.

Well, I didn't really mind that though. But most do. As even when I'm the only one who helps here. No one care about this girl.

Life in this world sure is hard huh.

"Well, I would like to go now. So see you later. Be careful from those thugs."

"Uhm Mister. please. Can I? Can I follow you?"

I raised my eyebrows.

"Well, I guess if you want to join Adventure guild you can."

And then she just follows me.

The two of us arrive at the Guild.

"Hey, do you have some quest for me?" I ask the receptionist

"You are C Rank, right? Then we have some you might like. There is Black Bear that has attack the caravan, there is also some General Goblin."

"Hm, I have to fight those Goblins yesterday. I would like to take Black Bear Quest today." Anna, the receptionist gave me the form to confirm this quest.

"I understand. Please come here when you finish it."

"Oh, also this girl seems to be want to join. Can you take care of her."

"But uhm mister. I, uhm, I want to be at the same party as you." The girl mutters this.

But I certainly hear this.

"You want to join me? Well, this quest will be dangerous. How about you finish thing here first then I would like to see you after I finish my quest." I said to her.

Anna frown at the girl's request.

It's not really the first time. I have joined some parties before but never really a full-time thing. I focus more on Solo as I have gained the nicknamed The Black Blood.

That titles come to me when I get back here with a Blue Bear's blood when I was just a D-Rank.

It stays till now.

The girl finally gets quiet and agrees with my reply.

Well, after thinking about that. I didn't know whether I can let her join.

I like Solo more after all.

I hope Anna can explain this to her.

"I will go then, Anna. See you later." Thinking about it I actually didn't even know the girl's name at all. Well, I will know it later though so it's not a big deal.

I left them like that and starting my adventure today.
