14 I Can Travel (Chapter 13)

Back home it was morning already and as there is nothing I can do at home this early besides just training I decide instead to watch new anime.

Watch them on my new laptop. It's lucky that my uncle really keeps his promise and there is no issue with my parents. My father right now is work in another city for the last few days and my mother is still sleeping. Well, this is morning too after all.

My two siblings also are sleeping.

When the time to go to my school came I readied myself.

"I haven't done this for some time here. Should I try it first?" Light comes from my body.

"Always surprise me that I can do it here huh. Good, I feel great now!" Doing magic exercises on the body always refreshes me. And calmness of mind does the trick for clearing my mind from any unnecessary worry.

"Mom, I will go to school first!" Besides that my 2 siblings are with my mother I'm just going alone as this is my senior high school contrary to my siblings who are in their 4th grade.

So, I can use a motorcycle that my father gives me.

When I come to school it was...

"Huh?"

"What happens here? You guys are early?" Most of the students are already here.

It surprised even me. Usually, they are not this early.

Ranu too is there sitting on his seat when I come and ask him he twitches his eyes.

"You forgot didn't you?" He seems irritated there.

Well, I was busy with Alice and other things too there is no way I can remember something that not really important for me.

"We didn't have any study today. You remember that we are preparing for the school's festival tomorrow right?"

Ah, so that's what this is about.

"I forgot. But aren't you guys early than usual?"

"This is because of that. You know, the thing with Sasha. She asks most of us to come early. You don't get the message?" I shake my head on that.

No, there is no one who reminds me of that.

Sigh, I guess I focus too much on that side.

I even forget about my phone here.

Checking on it, yeah. There is a miss call from Sasha. I guess this is my fault too.

I didn't open my phone and just watch anime on my laptop.

I look around seeing that some of my friends are preparing their class.

I didn't really interest in school that much but then suddenly I hear someone call my name.

"Aldi!" A girl that I didn't really know. Not really important for me to remember.

"Yes?"

"You are called by the principal? Something about the thing you do yesterday?" What? What did I do?

I can only sigh didn't really know what she is talking about. Besides, I don't even know her. So this is at least not a prank.

Wanting to get it over with I come to the principal's room.

"Excuse me?" The principal is there. Along with a man in uniform. No, not a civil servant. Like the one that used by big people.

"You are here Aldi. This is Sir Toni, he is the father of miss Azuki!" He must notice my confusion.

"Azuki?"

"The girl you save yesterday. It was on the news, though at first, we want to give you an award you told your uncle on the police that you don't want it yes? We only know about this because you and miss Azuki study here!"

Ah, that girl I saved. I don't know what happens to her. I just left her there as I know my uncle can take care of it.

"Indeed Principal, I don't want it. Truthfully that kind of thing only embarrasses me. I'm quite a shy person on that kind of thing!" Despite having big confidence in the field I just can't get on without any embarrassment to myself. Luckily it's not so bad because of Calmness of Mind.

"Firstly I want to thank you for saving my daughter's life. Like he says my name is Toni, the head of Azuki Company!"

Azuki Company? That kind of thing exists in this small town?

"It's fine sir. It was mostly luck that they are stupid. Sigh, I just trip them when they run toward me!" True to my word I don't even know why they are big syndicates.

He opens the box with him with a strange-looking thing there.

"Take this as our gratitude for you. The new tech we manage creates for a future smartphone. A smart wrist!"

I don't even know that's real or not.

Looking at him is pretty serious about this I take it without thinking too much.

"Also, please do come to our mansion. My wife and daughter want to meet you. My daughter wants to show you her gratitude!" He is... he is grinding his teeth.

Sigh, if I reject it will become a problem later.

"Thank you then. I will come after this!" After he left the Principal congratulate me on my achievement and I got back to class. Helping my classmate so that our class can set up our stand. Though it will be later.

Well, might as enjoy my day here eh...
